I'm right there with you but they say we won't trade Melo. This is the only thing I could think of that would satisfy that declaration and improve the team (I think).

Get ready to see the worse defensive front court in NBA history. It would be Melo and Amare but they don't start games together. Get ready for another decade+ of wondoeri g why we are only winning 20-30 games even though we are loaded with talent. This is a controlled demolition. If the talent-phuck doesn't work, these trades at least creates additional cap space come 2015 (only Mayo and Jack would be under contract; both of which could be readily moved just short of the next deadline or offseason if need-be.).
