Have to admit that was clever, but he should have saved it for the playoffs, assuming they make it. Won't be able to pull that again since refs will probably give him a tech if he tries it again.

How come Kidd didn't become an assistant coach for the Knicks? Because he was talking to the Nets before the Knicks season was over and the Nets should have been heavily fined for that. But we can't prove that. By him pulling a stunt like that Kidd has no idea how to coach a team. It's different than playing on the court and talking to players and calling out plays. Papabear

Your spot on Guns The worst part is the refs still fall for his flops. On offense he can drive to the hoop with 2 people hanging on his back and score no problem. On defense he drops like a domino. |

Another example of Kidd being shady, trying to milk the rules.
The wily Kidd, then playing for the Mavericks, charged into Woodson with his elbow as he dribbled up the left sideline, proving to the referees Woodson was actually a couple of feet into the court – which is considered interference. Mike Woodson at the time was the Hawks coach was assessed a technical foul and the Hawks were winning 97-95 Now listen to what Melo said to defend him: “That goes to show you what kind of person he is,’’ Anthony said. “He’ll do whatever he has to do to win. He protects his team.’’ SMH rolling my eyes
