Would have to be busted in his own scandal 1st.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Bill Bradley... as owner.

Until the monarchy that is the Dolan family is deposed... or has an epiphany after this season of great expectations

replacing the Knicks coach is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I miss Don Chaney

I think we need Isiah back.
He may be able to get Melo to new level... And the to new level...
And then to eat Vaseline...

If the roster wasn't so clumsy I think JVG would be the guy. He expressed regret quitting on the Knicks last year

He'd be making a terrible mistake working for Dolan and coaching this roster though

He is better off sticking to the tv gig

When Herb gets fired ,then you know we are truly going in a different direction foreal.

He's been here the longest as an assistant coach under different coaching regimes!

I like JVG, but his offense would be exactly the same iso-Melo as Woody's.

I agree, though I wonder whether a lot of his record was just due to having Stockton and Malone.

this... and not for nothing, Don Chaney did a good job coaching a team with a frontcourt of Kurt, Othella Harrington and Shandon Anderson to waaaay more wins than they should have had.

This place will be a septic tank of dysfunction until that drunken hobbit who calls himself jimmy is gone from the picture.

I like Jerry Sloan a lot but he seems more content with being in a small market. At his age its also possible that he might not be able connect with a newer generation of professional ballplayers (see Larry Brown). Because of all of this, I think Stan Van Gundy might be a better bet. He maximized his roster in Orlando, which is similar to the personnel we have today. I don't know if Stan is a championship caliber coach though, which could defeat the purpose of pursuing him.
