Win or lose? When the Heat went to Boston for G6 last year, they dominated. What happens this year?

Law of averages. Melo and JR can't both not show up for the 3rd straight game. If 1 of the 2 shows up, Knicks should win.

I think they were seriously humbled and get a convincing win. Conventional wisdom says melo doesn't have 3 bad games in a row, but this is the optimist in me speaking.

This series makes me want to cry and/or throw up

Agreed. Was just about to say as long as JR isn't ice cold, we should be fine. What was it, 0-10 before he hit those late 3's?

This series is still heavily in our favor. I think going up 3-0 really hurt in some ways. Most of us expected this series to go to a game 6. I had the Knicks winning in 6 as probably at least half of others did. Had this series been tied 2-2 and the Knicks won last night, i think we would be feeling different about it right now. We just have to look at it as, we expected this series to be a fight, and now it is one. Hopefully last night's loss was a rude awakening and the better team can take care of business on the road.

I think we lose Friday night. I don't even want to say what I really think is going to happen the rest of the series. JR being suspended terrified me...and so far my fears are coming true.

Hopefully I'm just a coward and my guts have **** for brains.

Is there gonna be a Robert Randolph playoff addition song? If so, then yes we lose.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

It's on Woodson. Melo is a shooter - plain and simple. He is not yet on the leadership level of the greats. So if it doesn't work, it's up to the coach to let Melo and JR know that, and to work out an adjustment. What I see is the Celtics now having adjusted to our game, through both their game and the way they've gotten into our heads. It's all part of the package. IF we continue to play the way we have, then we lose. Woodson has to be on Melo to pass when he sucks up the double or triple team. Melo's good enough to get a shot off, but it's going to be a low percentage shot. Now if our shooters aren't connecting off a Melo kick, then what's the adjustment -- drive, or run another play.

I know these coahces know more than us. But my gut sense is, as one thread put it, Woodson is coaching scared right now. If he doesn't try anything new next couple of games and we lose, he's gone. If he wins, all is forgiven.

i dont think i can put the knicks and humble in the same sentence, but i do think they'll win the game. i don't see how the old-ass celtics can keep fighting for their lives.

I felt like meeting JR to have a little "talk" at the team bus after that performance...

JR out partying the last few nights, and the night before the game.

Knicks are not serious and will lose.

What a phucking tool...

If we somehow lose this series, good riddance JR. Good luck in ATL or Charlotte or whatever team stupid enough to fork over money.

They'll pull the series out but they will come out of this like scruffy alley cats.

We needed to put the foot down, to stamp our trademark on the asses of the Eastern Conference, but now the Second Round match-up smells the blood!

They were worrying all over the radio yesterday about what affect rust would have on ye olde Knicks if they did close out last night. Cornbread Maxwell came on and told both those ESPN idiots to STFU, because kharma is a beeeyatch, and he had the old Celtics stories to prove it.

JR drives (sober), Melo distributes, we all go home happy. No smiles, no jokes, all business.

According to this link, he partied Tuesday at Pink Elephant in NYC:

Unless they're making it up, which is possible.

Either way to even consider partying during a playoff run and contract year makes me nauseous.

JR is who we thought he was...

Anybody who thinks Boston won't freeze up at home at crunch time , don't know playoff basketball.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
