You post this right when Gallo tears his ACL and the Knicks have their best winning streak in years? Come on man.

I agree this thread is unnecessary but when the Knicks were slumping earlier there were threads about the Nuggets and even about Lin so it does go both ways.

No way. Melo is the real deal. Guy is NY. Those guys we let go were good but they were not NYC.

The Knicks got the better end of the deal.
It doesn't have to mean the Nuggets got a bad end of the deal though.

Denver is screwed in the way of now they don't have a guy like Melo who can take over a game singlehandedly, but they do have a good record since the trade so I guess you could say it's a win-win

Truth

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

If the situation was reversed ((Gallo on a scoring tear & Melo down for the year)) this poll & 5 more like it wouldn't be splashed all over the board??? Come on man!!!

The Knicks got the better end of the deal since day 1 of the post trade. Carmelo is proven. We gave Denver alot of "maybes".

Way validated. Just happy it's finally played out as those at always knew always knew. It's one thing to scream bloody mirder at the trade and then say "well, it's only a good trade because of so and so and this and that".

We won in that trade because players followed melo. No other reason.

Have a star, attract talent.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

is this a good time to ask? gallo goes down with a knee injury & melo is on fire
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

A diplomat once related a story to me, that if one side of the negotiating table was smiling, that the other side should go back to the negotiation table for a better deal. In this case it looks like neither side is smiling, so both should be satisfied.

Yes - I'd focus their attention on the larger, 3 season body of data we have available.

It's a good time to ask if you're seeking validation for your own viewpoint.

No reason to visit this B.S. again. The trade didn't change Denver as a team much, but the Knicks got a good deal because Melo actually improved and is having his best season as a pro. In addition, he attracted some talent and this is the best season we've seen in close to 20 years.
