How many games will the Yankees win this year?

I know there's an OT forum but no one goes there. It's OK if the mods want to move this but I was hoping the thread could start out in this forum.

I think they look pretty bad. I could still imagine everything coming together and the team winning the division but I'm expecting a .500 season, or even slightly below.

High 80s, low 90s.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

they have really solid pitching which should carry them until guys get healthy, not sure of the win total, but the division is absolutely up for grabs

It will be a miracle if they make the playoffs. The team is both injury-riddled and old. The pitching will have to carry them completely.

Trading Austin Jackson and Jesus Montero were huge mistakes. They could have built around those kids for the future.

Based on age and recent past performance, I think CC, Pettitte, and Kuroda will be good for about 45 wins. I'm not sure where the rest of the wins will come from. It's hard to picture them getting another 45 to 50 (to win the division).

I think they finish somewhere in the high 70's to low 80's. Its been a good run but I don't see them making the playoffs this year.

It's hard to say whether this is a well-planned rebuilding era or just the beginning of lots of disappointing seasons under the Steinbrenners. From what I've seen, it looks more like the latter.

I bet you both the dodgers and angles don't even make the playoffs. If you would have asked last season how good were the O's coming into the season, you would have bent over from laughter if some one said they would be better then boston and would challenge yanks for 1st place.

This season Giradi is going to have to press all the right buttons..
