What do you think the Knicks should do before the deadline--we do have injury problems and we cant seem to keep our guys on the floor--should we try to get some quality depth?

Knicks need to trade Amare for anything they can get.

I like Amar'e. He is just what the Knicks need. I would like another PF and would try to make a trade for Dunleavy giving up Novak. I like Novak and maybe it changes once Felton gets back and shift Kidd to the 2nd unit. I think Dunleavy would work better because he runs better and shoots a high % from three.

Why would any team give up anything of value for Novak?

I would trade Novak, or Copeland & Brewer for a big who could defend and rebound.

The team really needs rebounding help. Maybe they can get it from a trade but the best thing that could happen would be Camby getting fully healthy.

Teams see more value. They will look at his synergy numbers and see how he is putting up goof numbers defensively and even though he is not shooting like last year he is still shooting great. also he is under contract for 4 year at a modest price and Dunleavy will be gone next year.

Trading Novak for Dunleavy doesn't make any sense.

I'm okay with the backcourt situation. I would like to see another front court addition, but the Knicks don't have the assets. It's a pipe dream to get a quality big for Novak and spare parts.

It gives NY someone who can shoot the three like Novak but also play decent defense and guard 3s. It gives NY another ball handler who can shot off more than two dribbles unlike Novak. Dunleavy can also actually run off screen, multiple screens in fact. It probably want happen but its an idea.

By the way their are reports Camby could be ready by next week(add another) and that Wallace could play today if it was the playoffs(who knows). With Wallace it sounds like it is a pain issue that he has battled since his days in Detroit.

If you can move Amar'e for peanuts you gotta do it, but that's wishful thinking on my part

Shore up shooting guard??? Why, we are carrying five 2 guards already.

We still have Shumps(should play 30) JR(should play 30) and Kidd(should play 20)

I see no reason to "shore up" shooting guard.

I think White has done well plays good D and have made some timely buckets. It's not like he is playing loads of minutes.

White needs to be given more of a shot. He's played well in limited minutes.

I really wanna see Kenyon Martin a Knick.

Rasheed Wallace.
Marcus Camby.
Kenyon Martin.
Kurt Thomas.

We need as many veteran BIG's as we can get. With Wallace, Camby and Thomas all being up there in age and/or been banged up here in 2012-2013? Kenyon Martin could become big for us moving forward.

Kurt Thomas, Kenyon Martin, Rasheed Wallace, Marcus Camby, Amar'e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler. Chances are, these BIG's will never be healthy at the same time, which is why it's important to land Kenyon Martin.

Josh Boone is in the d-league. Not sure that the Knicks are going to give up or have enough to get someone better.
