I think you should have used a different scientific measurement instrument instead of a thermometer to gauge temperature...I was thinking something more along the lines measuring Volcanic Activity or Earthquakes

I voted neutral- wasn't a fan of the trade, didn't want him here and found the team boring to watch for a few months post-trade. But he got us into the playoffs last season, played better defence and has said and done the right things since the season ended. I don't think he was the reason we lost to the heat, wasn't too bothered he quit on D'Antoni as I didn't think he was the right coach for us, and every player quits on a coach at some point (or the coach quits on them- just a fact of basketball) and I'm looking forward to seeing if he can up his game this season.

I vote positive because his mind is right, his body is right, and everyone around him from management to the ballboys are on the same page. Coming off a superb performance in the 2012 Olympics, he and the Knicks are ready to hit the ground running.

Yep, I've had it with bad starts- last season was especially crushing before Linsanity, even Nixluva seemed to sink into despair. We have a tough, tough back to back vs the Nets and Heat to start the season- we need to come out strong.

Im neutral. Didnt like the trade, dont think he makes us much better, tired of reading about how wonderful it is he's in shape and willing to be a team guy

Lets just start the season. Show me. Every year is a new start

You could say that. I think every star/superstar needs the perfect storm of things to happen to advance far. Even Lebron with his greatness, got swept out of the NBA Finals once he got there in Cleveland. He needed an owner like Mickey Arison to open the checkbook, a GM/President owner in Riley willing to pull the right strings, a coach in Spoelstra that would defer as well as delegate with his players, a Robin to his Batman in Wade, and a Boshtrich to stick his neck out and be the third wheel.

Melo came close in 2008 in the Western Conference Finals with Chauncey, Kmart, AI, Nene, etc...

KG needed Sam I am and Spree to finally make noise in Minny. Finally got "his perfect storm" in Boston.

Melo's a Knick. I like the Knicks. I'm Melo positive. He's still BK Part 2 until proven otherwise.

Don't miss Gallo, don't miss the Mayor, don't miss Moz. Don't miss the draft picks.

Based on past results, it has to be negative. Our winning percentage in the games he's played in is in the .400s. I do think the team will be much better next year and Melo has a great opportunity to win me over though.

I think Melo will have a great year. However i think he needs to show it and lead the knicks to 50 wins and then he will probably get more support

It's the wording of the poll - if the poll was asking about past performance, it would probably be much more negative.

Or if the poll could have worked in the word Gallo...
