No, masochistic is when Knicks fans are satisfied for the past 12 miserable years under Jimmy's ownership, and keeps on taking the beating without saying anything or supporting the cause to get Jimmy Dolan sell the team. As you can see, I'm the total opposite of that. Jimmy Dolan causes me pain and I in turn, fight back and encourage all of us to stop giving Jimmy Dolan money to waste.

Sounds like a hard core Knick fan.

Fear that the knicks won't have nets to kick around to build up our self esteem (knicks might suck, but we are "better fans than Net fans and our building is mostly full!!") could tip many over the edge.

Should the Nets succeed over the Knicks could hurt many.

Have fun getting Jimmy D to sell the team - that is a viable goal.

Jimmy does not cause me pain because sports does not cause me pain. I am a huge knick fan and do not miss a game but if their dysfunction can cause someone pain then there is a definite lack of true fulfillment in their lives.
