I'm not sure what the problem is, if he's hit the rookie wall or if he's not sure how to play with Melo yet, but Landry just has not been playing well since the trade. My question for you guys is: Who should start at shooting guard?

I still think Landry should start because he doesn't really hurt the Knicks being out there. I like Walker but he doesn't play much defense and putting Chauncey on 2 guards hasn't worked out.

I think we need Douglas coming off of the bench for Defensive continuity and his shooting off the bench. Landry is hitting a wall. Some of it is meshing with Billups and Melo, but he's missing a lot of wide open shots the last several weeks.

When we took Felton off the team we killed the pick and roll offense. Now its mainly an isolation offense where Fields doesn't get much action, he's just asked to spread the floor and be a spot up shooter.

We need to commit to Fields. He will have his ups and downs but is exactly what we need long-term at the SG.

Fields had his best game in a long while if not the season coming off the bench against Charlotte. Walker would also help spread the floor as he is a better spot up shooter at this point...if he can also start to attack the basket with his freakish athleticism like he did in the 4th qtr yesterday he should be given a 6 game road test as a starter. Could help both players confidence. Walker has the talent...it's been his desire to work hard that has come into question, i think he is finally getting it and is due to break out...at just the right time I might add. Walker shoud be given a chance to start now that we have clinched a playoff spot

I dont like Fields at SG on this team. His defense isnt all that and his handle needs work.

Fields is definitely looking more and more like a rookie..the trade did him no favors..he benifited from ball movement and slashing , we have very little of that going on now

I agree but at least for now he's somewhat steady. I think walker would be an upgrade offensively but his defense is pretty awful. He requires help almost every time someone drives on him. If we went with Toney Chauncey would guard opposing shooting guards and well he really cant guard ANYBODY and putting him at a height mismatch also would not help and teams would be more likely to go after him.

Well, Fields went to Standord, so he's smarter than me by at least 40 iq points. So he should start at SG.

I'm surprised that D'Antoni has not gone with Douglas there, and then Landry at the SF, Melo at PF & Amare in the middle. I just think that is the line up he wants to go with...
