We all know that Isiah is trying to land Sheed especially after the Rockets game where we got man-handled at the PF and C positions. The Bruno signing also tells us that Isiah is probably looking to trade Doleac (who Portland would love to have as throw-in). Some people think Sheed will be a cancer to this team, while others (including me) think that Sheed can really bring this team to the next level. To get Sheed, we obviously would have to send either KVH or KT to Portland. So if we do land Sheed, how far do you guys think this Knicks team can go this year?

We would make a deep run in the playoffs, but we would get knocked out.

LOL, come on this guy has a ton of talent. Plus, I bet Zeke can clear his head. He's playing out of position this year and he's still averaging 17 points a game in the WEST. Bring him to the East and make him a PF again and he will be great for us. He would easily be one of the top PF's in the East.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

Sheed already limited the choices of teams he'd sign an extension with- The Cavs and the Knicks. They just traded with the Cavs so IMO the Knicks are in the front running for him based on that alone.

Sheed is the piece to the puzzle that IMO can get the Knicks over the hump- before and during the playoffs. He can hold his own in the low blocks against anyone in the East and has already proven himself as a big man who can survive and thrive against western conference opposition.

Getting Rasheed Wallace on the Knicks would make us a title contender.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

LOL Yeah I posted it in the Portland rumors thread. I repeated it here since it applies to the topic. The deja vu is true.

Glad to see that you're on point, Matt.
