Good rule, players will adjust and stop complaining. Fans are sick of it.

Its not that im sick of it - the game would move much faster and players will be more focused on the next play which is what truly matters.

I voted "Good Rule" but I think the refs need slightly thicker skin. I wasn't happy about KG leaving the game yesterday. What's more, there is a likely chance that the refs will implement the rule in the same biased way they call games: Favoring certain players and harshly condemning others.

At least they should be more like baseball refs, not too quick triggered.

Still, if a mofo won't STFU, boot his retarded arse.

I think the basis of the rule is good. The execution has to be worked out and all have to get used to it.

I personally was sick of Nates reaction after each call. Dude was in suprise after every call. Like a chicken, a new experience every reduncant time.

I understand the Moz getting one. He might have been muttering in Russian but the ref does not know what he is saying. Maybe he is going off on a "Darko" about wanting to stick his junk in his mothers mouth, but he don't speak russion so he don't know that!

Hated seeing KG get thrown out on Pierces birthday.

I posted in the game thread when KG got ejected, but I'm in favor of the rule solely because players complaining to refs over ticky tacky fouls is just as annoying as refs whistling over ticky tacky fouls. These guys need to just play the game and not argue over every call like bitches. Imagine if every batter started talking/whining to the umpire after every strike call.

I'm for a warning first and a bit slower to eject...I do agree with what they are trying to accomplish with this rule though.

I dont like the rule. refs gotta give out a warning or something at least and use their heads. but im glad that pos garnett got ejected. With all the bs he pulls im sure the refs were all just waiting to give him the boot.

These guys have sat in class rooms with NBA refs telling them what is acceptable and what is not. The coaches have told them. They have seen video made by the league showing what is good and what will not be tolerated.

Its not like these guys just crawled out of a hole and have to figure it out.

The Refs in return have to not respond to the threats either and not be arrogant in return. This is the reason for the rule is that it helps both the players and the refs better understand. I think the refs the last few year have crossed over the line also in repsonse to players increased emotional outpouring.

It was only a matter of time until somting really bad was going to happen. Divas stars (usually Captains) should have more leeway to talk to the refs.

Rashweed Wallace was almost unwatchable

The game is played for the fans enjoyment.

Yeah, the other day with Garnett was ridiculous, but there has to be SOME leeway. Even Mike Breen thinks it's ridiculous and that players shouldn't be ejected the instant a player opens his mouth. How it happens, I don't know, but I don't think being this harsh will yield so many results.

Let's ask Tommy Heinsohn what he thinks.
