My pick would be Chicago. Their infrastructure is the best. Even though the Heat haev Wade--Chicago has a player who is just about the same level yet also have good bigs wings and guards already in place

I completely agree with you Briggs. With Chicago, LeBron would have a chance to play with a true stud star PG (Who can create his own shot) and a stud TRUE center who plays his butt off on both ends. Just fill in the gaps with smaller complimentary pieces and you got yourself a real contender for years to come. It's scary actually.

Not downgrading the Knicks, b/c Lee, Gallo, Douglas and Chandler are nice. However, I love the idea of playing with Rose and Noah better, if I'm a superstar wing named LeBron.

Chicago has the best overall surrounding cast, but Miami would offer him the best player... either one would give him a much better shot to win than he'd get in NY (unless we were to get Bosh which would tip the scales in our favor)

I would say Memphis Grizzlies !!!

C. = GASOL
PF = ZACH
SF = LEBRON
SG = GAY
PG = MAYO

of those choices, Chicago... but Dallas would offer him the best chance to win and they have Eric Dampier's weird non-guaranteed contract for a S&T

win now team is only one of the factors. He's not going to Chicago. Not so much as a chance in hell. Miami is a great place to spend the winter. He's got a NY personality.

gotta tell ya also, getting bounced 6 games into the 2nd round could work for us. Tells you the Cavs are not close to winning a title, Shaq and Jamison are old. Mo and AV have peeked, and they dont have much else in the pipeline.

I thought he would have to win a title there to leave, but this could work also.

also the Knicks have 4 guys on the roster (amazingly Curry and LBJ are buds). They can resign their all star Lee or bring in another max player to build around as well. So its kind of hard to determine how win-now the Knicks are or arent

LeBron James isn't going to Chicago to be in Michael Jordan's shadow (neither is Dwyane Wade). And he isn't going to Miami either so this poll is kind of pointless. It's either New York or Cleveland. It's either Chris Bosh, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Toney Douglas or Mo Williams, Anderson Verajoa, Delonte West and J.J. Hickson.

I'd pick New York. Cleveland is a dump and nobody has stepped up to be LeBron's 'Robin'. If King James doesn't score 30, they cannot win.

he's not going to Wade's house.

he's not going to Jordan's house.

which is the only one of those teams that can get him Bosh and would be a fresh start and where he'd be the face of the franchise.

It wasnt really a question of where you think hes going--it's what team out of the three would he have best chance of winning now with unbiased.

Chi-town gives him the best chance to win.

You could also argue that OKC be on this list, they have 16mm+ in capspace.

I think, honestly, if he and Bosh were to team up in NY with Gallinari, Chandler, Toney, Barron and Walker that would be the best team of the three.

OKC doesn't actually have max cap space if you count cap holds. And he and Durant sharing the ball, along with Westbrook, wouldn't be good. They need a big guy in OKC - they already have their version of Bron.

i'll repeat my stance...win now has nothing to do with lebron.

his play over the past 2 games has been very dissapointing and indicative of that.

he wants shine, he wants his $$$'s...

Pretty much. At least we will be watchable next year. I also dont think D'Antoni lasts past next year.

i think he also realized that he has to do it ALL by himself in Cleveland and realizes that's impossible to win a championship like that.

and i'm sure this summer is on his mind when he thinks about having to do it all himself.

it seems like leaving has been on his mind since his MVP press conference when he said he'll always love akron, no matter where his career takes him.

I agree, but I also think he has enough drive to win a title. Especially as he gets older and the clock starts to tick and his $$$ continue to add he's going to become more and more driven to win a title.

Its almost hard to remember he's only 25 years old and wont be 26 until December.

I really think this coach and this team is the perfect group for Lebron right now. He shouldnt be a half court player. He shouldnt be holding the ball on ISOs while his team stands around. He should be on a team full of guys that can run and handle the ball. Of our guys coming back only Chandler has an average or below average handle. Douglas, Walker, Lee and Gallo are all excellent open court guys who can run and handle the ball, and Chandler does other things.

That article was dead right about one things... image Lebron in an open, running ssol offense. Not only will he assault stats and scoring titles but is there a better way to utilize Lebron than have him always in motion? Taking volumes of shots?

And lets face it... a DAntoni team with Lebron on it is going to be fun. Thats going to be a fun team to play on in front of garden crowds every night.

I think thats WAY bigger a lure than playing with Derrick Rose. Playing with Rose and Deng doesnt excite someone like Lebron. Running showtime on Broadway does.

If Im Lebron and I wanted to win now I would choose NJ. Here's why:

- Billionaire owner willing to spend
- Nets have never won a championship
- Create his own legacy
- Team moving to Brooklyn
- Young assets and a lottery pick that can be moved for help RIGHT NOW
- Can hand pick his own coach
- Can hand pick the entire team really. The only untouchable player on the Nets right now is Lopez.

- worst team in the league
- worst arena in the league
- no fan base and no matter what that team is 2nd in the city. Just ask the Mets how that feels
- best player (Harris) is always hurt
- next best player (Lopez) is a turtle
- no shooters to spread the floor
- no coach
- two years of playing in an empty gym while nobody cares about what you do. Devils win titles and still nobody cares

Of course your not Lebron so its doesnt matter what you think
