NY sends
Al Harrington to the CAVS (championship)
Jordan Hill to the Rockets (sweetener)
JJ to the Rockets
$3mil to the Rockets

CLE sends
Zydrunas Ilgauskus to Houston

HOU sends
Tmac to Knicks

---

Houston gets three big men, Cleveland gets another scorer, We get rid of JJ but it costs us Hill.

Fair for NY, but one of the other teams wouldn't do it

i don't want to give anything to the cavs that could help them win a championship. i give them eddy curry, that's it.

But it also helps us clear 10mil extra cap space, so its a "you scratch my back, i'll scratch your back" deal.

NY and CLE may realize they should just work together to help CLE get their chip this year. It would make it easier for LeBron to leave, delivering a TITLE to his home state will soothe the pain of him moving on to "bigger challenges".

Fair to Cleveland and Houston. Alot to give up just to get rid of JJ, If it was Curry it would be much more fair.

i'm not giving up Jordan Hill just to dump Fishlips' contract... a #8 lottery pick is way too high a price to pay to dump $6.8 mil in cap space.

True. But we risk losing Lee if we can't move JJ or Curry. Are you happy keeping JJ and Hill over Lee?

Douglas instead of Hill and the trade looks much better.
I agree with TMS, Hill is too much a price to pay to dump JJ's contract. Douglas is expendable if he is going to be a scoring guard instead of a pg.

Donnie should have thought of that last year... we could have gotten back some real assets for D Lee but he chose to risk it & wait to weigh his options in free agency... he painted himself into this corner now... i wouldn't have given up our #8 lottery pick last year to dump Fishlips & i don't do it now... if Lee ends up walking via free agency, then it's Walsh's fault, but he can't compound his mistake by making another one IMO... if it comes to that, i think Jordan Hill can play the PF & i would target Marcus Camby in free agency to fill the C position.
