Now with Gallo, Wilson, Lee, and Hill which guy would you trade to upgrade? Would you just wait it out and sign Lebron and add him to those 4?

I know it depnds on who you are getting but who is your core?

I wouldn't trade any of them, Lebron would rock with those guys. I feel bad that I voted for Wilson now, forgive me Wilson.

How come there is no option for trade them all? I would start with an absolute clean slate. Guys I would keep (and in that order)

Hill
Gallo
Douglas
Chandler

But nobody is untouchable. Forget 2011. You need to get two, maybe three of the top five players. I would give up everyone on the roster to clear everyone off the roster and be able to sit down James, Wade and Bosh and offer them each a max contract (that will come to 90% of the salary cap). That leave $5.7m to fill 9 roster spots. Honestly, I don't care. The system currently works to help teams exceed the cap with the MLE, LLE and Veteran's Minimum Exceptions. So, even with a guy like Chris Hunter and Morris Almond in the starting lineup, I still think this team can win. By 2011 and beyond, it is dream team. Some veteran PG gets bought out. Some C or PF gets waived. Get the stars, the rest will work itself out.

NBA is not Fantasy league.
To get top players you need some adequate assets to trade for them.
I cannot see any.
As per FAs - they should want to select NYC over other teams... So it is up to them.
Did you hear anybody want to deal with us on anything? I don’t.

I believe truly Gallinari should be untouchable.....

He should be the Core piece to our team of the future!!

Of course the Plan is Lebron and nothing should stand in the way of that!!

That being said Gallo would be the PERFECT piece next to Bron.....

Threes will be dropping like rain!!

Think that if it makes sense for next year you trade anyone else..

Think Lee should be traded and Wilson too.... TD Al Nate Darko Hughes
even Hill if it gets rid of Jeffries or Curry... ( Curry aint going anywhere)

I do believe that Jeffries will be gone by trading deadline though.

Lee might be the easiest to trade because we can only take $3.5 mil back for him
so maybe Fishlips and Lee for someone might happen!!

I heard that Houston would only trade us Mcgrady if we include Will...... I would do
Will Fishlips Hughes or Al and a pick for Mcgrady.....

I think as far as trades go though we should use Will and whatever else to get Rubio!!

if i had to trade any of those guys, Will would seem to make the most sense since he plays the same position as Lebron & carries good value... if u could get a talented young PG like Rubio for him in a trade i'd do it.

Man, that is the most unrealistic suggestion I have read on this board yet. What's up with that crazy shyte right there? And I'm not just saying that because I agree with other posters that our core will pwn with Lebron running the show. I say it because it's such a ridiculous suggestion. That's not how you build a team.

Word. +1 to that.

Can't agree with you here. I think Lee will also be a terrific complement to Lebron. Add to that mix a playmaking PG and there will be multiple attack vectors (e.g., Lebron might initiate the play, or the PG; Lee can pick and pop from back, or roll to the hole and score with high efficiency, Gallo, Chandler... damn, our offense will be insane with Lebron on the team. Too bad Nash got snatched up.

And a defensive stud to handle the middle and we already have a good asset for perimeter D in Douglas.

If we can get rid of Curry then I make this move, too. Fishlips' deal isn't heavy enough to lose so much talent and picks. McGrady isn't going to play and has no future role. Until I hear otherwise, he's done. That's a lot of talent to clear cap space, but Curry's contract has some weight to it. If McGrady could actually play at his former level, it's another story, of course.

That's the only move I would endorse for trading Will. Chandler has huge upside for us still since he is a solid defender (our best?).

I don't want to trade Lee but believe he has the most value on our team..... I also believe in system Lee must stay a center and really don't care for that at all..... Rather have Hill develop at that spot....

I really love Lee and his game a lot!!! Just he is PF and just for that alone I cant justify giving him 5 years and 60 mil which
is mostly likely what he gets next year..

If you trade Fishlips and Chandler for Tracy thats 8 million off the books next year...... If Bron is the plan which he is Will
has no place here anyway...... So basically you give them a pick to take Fishlips from us....

Dont care if Mcgrady ever plays for us or not...... Would be Fun to whatch him play though!!
