Orlando, Boston, and Cleveland are "The big three" teams of the EAST. Who is next? Atlanta signed Joe Smith to add veteran leadership to this young talented team. Will they make the jump? Detroit shuffled the deck once again, going for youth with Gordon and CV31. How will Gordon coexist with RIP? Miami will have a better "rehabbed" version of Beasley. a full training camp with J'O and a healthy DWADE. Washington is at full health with their big3 of Arenas, Butler, and Jamison. plus they added depth with Miller and Foye.

I say its the Wiz. They're the most experienced group. They'll get to rd2 and have an epic series with whoever is there.

Atlanta - the right mix of youth, talent and veteran leadership.

Detroit, I think, is going to miss Billups more than they expected.

I don't have faith in the Wiz & their big three staying healthy.

And Miami? JO & Beasley? Those are two big problems for them. One won't make it through the season and the other is shaping up to be a bust as big as Oden.

I say the knicks, if we get lucky, hit our FT's, don't have any major injuries, sign sessions, lee and nate, curry comes in and does his ( I need a new contract) thing, jj gets traded with hughs for Steph jack, and DG has a break out season avg's.20 5 n 5

Not such a tall order uh.m.

don't sleep on hill either. this kid gets his confidence underneath him and he's gonna be flying around that rim finishing a lot of plays and disrupting shots on d. plus he's got a lot of potential on his low-post moves. and he's already shown in college he's gonna grab the boards.

I agree. I think we will be pleasantly surprised with Tony Douglas as well. I really liked what he showed in the SL games when he showed his pass first skills. This is in a SL Game setting where players tend to jack up shots to impress.

I'm so used to us sucking, that I didn't really realize the Knicks are going to be a 50 win team this year. If I could change my vote, you guys sold me Knicks.

MDA won 62 games in his second year at Phoenix. Now, we don't have Nash or anything, but we DO have MDA and a pretty solid group. 50 wins isn't a stretch.

50 wins isn't a stretch, no, although it might be a little lofty. I wouldn't be surprised if they won 50 games, but I wouuldn't be surprised if they won less than that.

I think, best case, 50 win team. Now, we don't have established players, no, but we DO have several players that could have breakout seasons-- Darko, Chandler, Gallo. And when you couple that with the experience gained from last year, 50 wins isn't that much of a stretch.
