Curry was my first choice, but he wasn't there when we picked - ok, time to move on. Hill is not a bad pick by any means. I can't wait to see him in summer league.

My problem with Hill is If we get Bosh what the hell do we do with Hill???

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

You can't worry about it right now, that's like saying we have to move Wilson because we won't have room for him with LeBron here.

There's no guarantee we're going to get either of those guys.

I don't get the poll...Curry was off the board. End of discussion.

Jordan Hill might prove to be a blessing. His presence saves the Knicks 7-10 mill per year. Curry would have put the pressure on to sign a certain pwr fwd.

What if Hill starts to show Bosh-like signs of development?

why couldn't u play those guys together? Darko's not the answer as our fulltime starting C for the longterm anyway & Bosh likes to play on the perimeter alot, which will free up the post for Hill to go to work.

C - Hill
PF - Bosh
SF - Gallo
SG - Chandler
PG - Nash?

that wouldn't be bad at all.

Of all the 2010 Free Agents, BOSH looked like the easiest get.

Thats why I would have preferred a PG like Jennings.

Holiday.

NY media and fan base would have attempted to destroy Jennings before he ever played a game. he is better off elsewhere

well he was there for the taking so my guess is Walsh & MDA weren't very high on him, or rather they had Jordan Hill ranked higher.

A Bad Sign

kam77 - Jennings was more concerned with the cameras and the crowd than he was in looking at David Stern as he shook his hand

If he were a true point guard, he would have been looking at the guy he is supposed to connect with.

they panicked and went with the low risk.

Derozan or Holiday should be a Knick right now.

edit: not Jennings he is somewhere where he'll get a chance from the coaching staff and management.

I like the pick. I thought Hill would be a good addition and still do. While I like Curry, I think Hill's going to be a solid contributer and I'm glad we got him. I thought he would go earlier in the draft. I still can't believe he fell to us at #8. He should be given some time to develop and prosper as a talented young prospect. You hatters need to chill

i would have preferred Derozan too but i'm fine w/Hill as our pick... he's gonna be a good player & we did need a replacement for D Lee anyway, cuz he's probably outta here via trade this offseason.

I'm sorry but you don't replace a role player with another role player when using a lottery pick.

IMO lottery picks, especially mid to high ones are to replenish the potential ceiling of a teams pool of talent and no matter how anyone slices it, Jordan Hill does not fit in that category.

Gallo did, even though he was the riskiest of the high risk high reward players with his back issues. Perhaps in the end Randolph or Gordon will prove to be bigger stars but I think Gallo if healthy will shine in his own right.

Jordan Hill however is looking more light bulb than nebula. Holiday and Derozan [and Jennings] have the potential to be stars

Yeah thats my reasoning too. We needed big talent. We got OK talent.

Then you were at the wrong draft.

DeRozan, for example, has as much chance of being "Kobe-like" as he has of being "Gerald Green-like".

He doesn't pan out for 2010 and you would be all calling for Walsh's head. Good thing they know not to make a lot out of the constant venom that comes from fan. You can never win with NY fans.

I am eliminating the factor of our pick and other pics out there. If someone said you can have Curry or Jordan Hill who would you want
