My question on Rubio is this: Is he like Jason Kidd? A guy with great court vision that can't shoot the ball worth ****?

Or is he a euro-bust who will come here, won't be able to shoot worth ****, AND won't be able to orchestrate an offense because he isn't an NBA player?

For it'd really suck to trade up to get him for him to be a complete project or a total waste.

I don't know about it but I don't get a great vibe from him either.

Remember, Milos Vujacic was supposed to be Michael Jordan and John Stockton wrapped into one and was going to take the NBA by storm and it was an amazing pick by the Knicks.

Yeah...whoops.

Lampe the next Dirk... etc.

Gallo a more versatile and athletic Dirk...

I mean, what is the TRUTH about Rubio?
And Jennings mumblings don't count.

I don't know a ton about the him, but I liked what I saw in the olympics and I like the fact that he's been playing against grown men since the age of 14. I like his chances.

I've seen him play a grand total of 3 games so I really have no idea. I'm with NYk4ever that I liked what I saw when I saw him. I like his maturity and experience against older players. But I don't really have an opinion one way or another. I trust my own instincts and find it difficult to make an assessment of a player based on what I read in scouting reports and hear on talk shows or see in youtube highlights.
I just hope that people will like me

I'm sure that D'Antoni and Walsh have seen a lot of Rubio, MDA saw him in the Olympics and don't think they didn't scout the team from Spain. They did and they probably watched all their players closely to get an idea as to what to expect. If the Knicks do move up to get Rubio it is because MDA has seen enough of him to make a decision to get him. You guys have to remember that as an NBA team they have access to all games played by Rubio. All they have to do is give a call and they get all the Euro games played.

What is the use of talking about Rubio it isn't happening. As for Curry that isn't happening either hate to say but NY media does enough to talk players down and they do enough to talk players up. It just so happens that Curry has been talked up out of the Knicks reach. I just wish that NY media would just say they were terrible or didn't perform all that well instead of talking them up. All their doing is elevating the players up out of the Knicks reach.

Gallo is a good pick man I don't know what you are talking about. 6'10'' player who shoots lights out can put the rock on the floor and create his own shot. Played with a bad back the guy is tough as nails. I liked the Gallo pick.

Depends? Either you get there or you don't. Either you do or you don't. Curry would be the best center in the league but it depends on if he gets in shape, stay healthy and put forth the effort. The only depends in life are the ones that old men wear.

Gallo isn't a 7 year veteran who had the potential to be the best center in the league, he is a rookie that just finished his first season in the league and had to struggle with injury issues but still showed lots of potential and, unlike the guy you are comparing him to, a strong mind and high bball IQ.

Either you get there or you don't? Dude still has to play and go through many seasons to prove it so "depends" is completely accurate. Lots of guys have great potential but things out of their control, like injuries, for example, get in the way. Here I'm hoping he is fine the rest of his career because if he is, get the crow ready.

Get the crow ready. Oh I'm scared now. You're better off leaving the predictions to Marv. At least he didn't try to lay out a multi-year plan to get to 18/7/4.
