Every article that discusses top prospects seems to point out that they are likely to be taken before the Knicks pick at #8. We know the first pick is assured to Griffin, and Thabeet seems a lock to go #2. But after that, its anyone's guess between Rubio, Harden, Hill, Evans, Curry, DeRozan and Jennings to fill the next slots. But if you can count, there are seven players on that list after the first two sure picks. While the media keeps telling us that all of this prospects will be out of reach when the Knicks pick, math shows the contrary. With that in mind, which of this "out-of-reach" prospects do you see falling to 8th so the Knicks pick him?

Well, I don't think so since this one is in reference to all the articles that keep telling us how all this prospects will be out of reach at 8th but one of those projected Top 5 has to fall to 8th.

Neither Jennings nor Evans could last to the Knicks at No. 8, but then again, there is so much speculation within the top 10 -- and teams trading in and out -- that no one can be completely sure who will be on the board.

According to Michael Lee of the Washington Post, Curry is "in the mix" for the Wizards at the No. 5 pick, with James Harden and Tyreke Evans both believed to be ahead of him. Harden and Evans will have individual -- not head-to-head -- workouts for the Wiz on Friday.

Hill, 21, is perhaps unlikely to be there when the Warriors’ turn comes at No. 7, considering he’s regarded as the most NBA-ready big man next to Oklahoma power forward Blake Griffin, who’s expected to go No. 1 to the Los Angeles Clippers. But if Hill is there, he may tempt the Warriors to disregard need and go for the best player available.

ok... i'll play along

if Griffin & Thabeet are off the table, i'm guessing the following guys will be off the board when our turn comes up at #8:

Rubio
Derozan
Hill

other than those 5 guys i think it's a complete tossup on who falls & who goes.

I don't know about DeRozan. He seems to be off the radars of many teams right now because of all the hype to Curry and now Jennings getting his stock up as well. He seems to be one of the most likely to fall at this moment.

I would love to get him but I think the Knicks are focused on getting a point guard. But if for some reason its DeRozan and Jennings on board at 8th, I hope they pick DeRozan.

athletes like him will always grab the attention of scouts & GM's, especially how he played in the late part of the season... he's not getting as much hype now but neither did Westbrook last year... i think he's gonna be gone by pick 5 at the latest personally... any questions of maturity on his part have been answered w/how he responded in the Pac 10 tourney in my view.

What about Johnny Flynn?

I'm convinced Curry/Jennings/Flynn will be available when the Knicks pick and I think one of them gets taken
