here are the parameters of this discussion: 1. only ONE max player will be signed in the summer of 2010. 2. lebron stays in cleveland. 3. wade stays in miami. would you be dissapointed if the knicks don't get lebron or wade in 2010 and can only sign ONE other max player?

I'm not putting all my eggs in the LeBron basket. Obviously, he would be the ideal signing, but we got Bosh, I'd be very happy. I know he's not the savior, but he's a pretty good start. We'd have money a year or two after anyways to sign another max player because of Curry/Jeffries coming off the cap.

that's not the premise of this thread. it says the knicks can only sign ONE max free agent (not lebron or wade).

They have'nt promised anything. All they can do is try. I just don't understand why they would only sign onr guy.

I don't think the Knicks organization has promised us anything except to have flexibility with the cap when it comes to 2010. I haven't heard Walsh talk about LeBron or Wade, only the media has.

I would definitely be upset because I want Lebron but even without him we are moving forward so I can't get two down. We had to clear cap space anyway

I would be mad but not that mad b/c I know now and I'll know then that chances of getting LeBron are extremely slim. 99% chance he resigns with Cleveland.

Dude, that's so messed up. It's clearly not the way I wanted it to sound. I do not "want" Lebron. I simply am trying to say that I hope to have Lebron soon.

I would be disappointed if the Knicks didn't get Wade or LBJ... but I think I'd get over that sentiment pretty damned quick with those two

Dude, that's so messed up. It's clearly not the way I wanted it to sound. I do not "want" Lebron. I simply am trying to say that I hope to have Lebron soon.
