What's he gonna say? It's becoming as plain as day that he was clearly the problem. He already knows that if he does say anything, he's gone. D'Antoni is proving that they don't need him anymore.
I'll never trust this' team again.

i think he should just be happy collecting his $21 mil this year to do nothing.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

For infinity. Because Marbles is above all that.

Marbles knows there's more to life than basketball. It doesn't matter if he doesn't play for a whole year, even though an NBA career doesn't last forever.

He is evolving to a higher plane. Don't try to pull him back.

Tough question. I think he speaks up as soon as he realizes it's not all about him.

If it's not gonna be him, Berman probably will.

He knows that if he wants out, it will cost him.

It makes me sick that he talks about "his" money first and foremost. Only now in exile does he say the right things. Talk is cheap.

Dice took a 6mil haircut cuz he don't want to go to Denver. If it was about the money he would have just gone, but he got enough and wants to do what he wants to do. Some guys have enough money and want to play. Silly things like pride, legacy, and winning do matter to guys with enough money. Babbleing about buying the knicks like he got that kind of money is posturing your pride.

If succeeding really mattered, and it does sell sneakers BTW, then he would certainly take a pay cut and sign where he could get minutes.

He came to camp is shape, and he does have great skill, and he was showcased in preseason that he still has that quick step. He'll land somewhere when he clears waivers.

Im in Dolans camp here. If the dude wants to play, let him pay for his freedom.

He will stay quite as long as we keep him out of the threads. We should change the question to how long before we create a Marbury thread.

Marbs wants to buy an airplane and the Knicks. He's not taking a paycut. At least not until next year when he is forced to

I haven't been reading the articles. Did Marury really say he'd like to buy the Knicks?

Would this be before or after he has his ashes sprinkled on the roof?

Yes he did say that off the cuff. I would find the article but too lazy. Google it and you will find it quickly. He has goals beyond basketball. Which is great. I think he envisions himself as some big business guy and so I don't think he's going to take a cut.

I'd love to see Steph with a tattoo of the Garden and a sneaker with "all alone" on his head.

Until all of this with Steph started going down, I didn't know that he didn't have a manager. This makes it hard to really get a deal done, cuz there's no 3rd party to kind of talk to and bounce concepts off or even just make a sensible appeal to take the pay cut and then he'd still be able to get the money back when he get's with a new team. It's not like he's gonna be asked to a paycut that is so large that he won't get the money back from his contract with a new team.

I mean if he's in such great shape surely he can get a new contract after this year, right?

I can see it know, "Knicks basketbal, we are all alone, and that's factorial"

If he can turn that quote into Japanese or Chinese writing, and make a tatoo out of that, and put it on his head, I would be extremely impressed. With that being said, I would be impressed and still have no clue if it really meant that.

Well he can't say too quiet, nobody will care if he is ........... slipping into the night with a whimper at the age of 32, how poetic would that ending be for -3bury.
