Marbury will be back, and Zeke will be coaching. You've been warned!

Voted yes, I think we should keep him in-case a Star becomes available by the deadline.

I voted yes because Walsh is not going to simply cut him unless Marbury agrees to a significantly reduced buyout. Plus, Marbury unfortunately is still the best PG on this team. No other team is going to offer us much for him until the start of the season because they are going to wait and see if we cut him. He probably will get traded before December though.

Yes....if he doesn't play well, they'll get rid of him. If he does play well, we'll need it.

My no vote was based entirely on wishful thinking. I have no idea how this is going to play out.

Strong yes vote in the poll compared to what has been said for the most part. If they are trying to win games---yes. If they are trying to win 28 games--no. Also depends on Marbury if he is healthy and can play up to his standard of 20-8 or close to it.

I hear you on this Brigg's but this is where the problem with Steph lies.

If he's on his game and productive it seems to come at the expense of either team chemistry, morale or some other negative impact on the team.

I'm somewhat hopeful that he is in awesome shape, plays great in Mikes system and helps us out. I'm just thinking that could all happen but his ultimate impact is more disfunctionality on the roster and in the locker room and we go nowhere.

Maybe we are simply best to just move on and take our chances with a pass first defensive minded Duhon with Steph simply cut out of the team photo.

Steph is certainly an enigma. When I watch him play hard - I don't see a guy that should be hurting the team but regardless of how well he plays he seems to have a negative influence on things. I still don't know this for a fact but I sure as hell get that sense from everything you hear and read about the kid.

Marbury is gonna shock everyone.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Great, just what we need, another sexual harassment suit...

I can't see Marbury still here for training camp. Everything we've heard on this situation has said Walsh won't make official move before September. In the mean time, Donnie has gone out of his way to further stock up on guards this off season. It's not like buying out Jerome, we only have to eat Steph's contract for one year, and that certainly falls within the two year plan.

He will definitely be there on opening night. Whether he plays depends upon his attitude. I don't believe D'A will prejudge him and will give him benefit of the doubt but keep him on a short leash. If he plays well he comes off the cap later.

I think it really depends on how his interviews went during the offseason. If the team is demanding that he be let go I don't think D'antoni will pull an Isiah and ignore it.

his teammates are plenty sick of Marbury's act, there've been guys on the team anonymously quoted in the papers saying as much... ain't no way D'Antoni can establish his own credibility w/this team & still have Marbury on the roster... he's gotta go.

Or he could name him captain and give him more reponsibility in the hope that this will turn him into a leader :)
