Curious what you guys think. Nate has had good moments and certainly shown flashes. He's also... well, retarded. I am curious about what you guys think is best for the team at this point. I think he's got a good amount of appeal around the league, as a scorer off the bench at worst. Would you rather see him in Mike's system or be moved for another quick guard type?

Move Nate for a late #1 and add a guy like DJ Aug, Ty Lawson or BPA with a pick 20-30 range

Its not letting me vote for some reason, but I vote for A). I always wanted to see how Nate would play in a more uptempo system.

If you're getting DJ, fine. But you're not getting him past 15.

You have to keep Nate. He is the most 'rounded guard on the team at the moment.

Nate's lone issue is maturity and this past season he showed an effort to curb it for the better.

He's a terrific athlete. He's in very good shape. He has good court vision. He's a solid outside shooter if not our best outside shooter. He takes the ball to the rim fearlessly but not recklessly. He makes a good effort on defense. He plays with passion and fire.

I really don't see what's not to like.

You have a player who is young and has a very fiery personality. Of course there will be quirks that come with it such as a loud mouth and unneeded showboating from time to time. We lived with those quirks in the past with other special players such as Sprewell for example. Why not Nate?

There's no reason to do away with Nate Robinson. He's one of the few players on this team that don't desecrate the Orange and Blue jersey. He's one of the few players that will unquestionably adapt to the new (expected but not known) incoming system with DAntoni.

to be fair Spree did it while beating guys in the playoffs. Nate does it while beating a guy for one play down 25 points in the 4th qtr and in the midst of another 25 win season.

But I do agree the guy has heart and skills and hopefully those can be harnessed into winning BB games. Thats what good coaching is all about right? I voted to keep him for the record.

Unless his antics prove to be chemistry killers, I vote keep him.

He's been one of the few guys that has cared, and played hard every minute on the court.

+1 to what Cosmic, fishmike said.

If you could turn NAte into Westbrook or DJ, then I would do it. Otherwise, I would keep Nate as a 3rd guard.

And to be fair Spree was a part of a very solid team of good to great players so I don't think you can make the playoffs argument quite yet you know?

What you're alluding to, and I agree is something he has to do away with, is again his immaturity and his enthusiasm getting the best of him. Nate lives in the immediate moment. While it looks bad if he dunks while down 25 and showboats - it's actually a good quality to have - in that if he's having a bad night, or we're down 12 in the 3rd Q, Nate Robinson isn't packing it in. He isn't sulking. He won't get humble cause we're losing. He's going to play like the score is 0 to 0 and he's going to try his hardest that very next play to make the score 2 to 0.

Again remember, he's a high energy guy, he's very young, and he did make what I thought were acceptable strides beginning in summer league and continuing during the season.

It'll be a telling offseason for him (for us as fans) to see if that growth continues. If you see an equal improvement from last year to this --- as we witnessed from year 2 to 3 --- I think we have a player. If not, well then, yeah...you start to wonder if he'll ever "get it".

To bad you couldn't structure a trade around the two seatle kids and send them home. Nate is a better player than Jamal, i think the team would really improve if we moved him. To bad we can't send crawford to tor, ford to portland and just dump salary in a three way trade

Well to be perfectly honest, if a team or teams came to the Knicks all at once and said: We will take Curry, Randolph, Jeffries, and Crawford and their 2011 contracts and give you back 2009 and 2010 contracts and a few kids on rookie deals and maybe a pick here or there --- BUT --- it's going to cost you Lee, Nate, Chandler, Balkman to get it done.

I say, well, love the kids, but SEE YA!

That's kind of outside the box so to speak though.

I love Nate and I think he will do well with D'Antoni- but I voted to move him if possible for the same reason as others have said to trade Lee- he is going to need to get paid, and it might not be huge money, but after a season with D'Antoni, he might put up huge numbers.

And Nate as a 5'9" SG/PG in training is a luxury that a 23 win team can't afford.

Send him to a team better situated to be able to enjoy him.

I think Nate going to have a breakout season next year. He needs to start @ point. The guy proved he could do it last year. If he was given a primary focus as a distributer I believe he can be a lead point guard.

The Knicks are in transition and nobody believes this team can win anything in the near future. Westbrook has a decent highlight film and he played well in the ncaa tourney.....so did nate. Nate in fact was more impressive. The guy can score on anybody and his height has never been a factor. His heart and his courage has never been in question. He is cold blooded and doesn't know any better to be afraid of crunch time.

Stop denying it non believers! Nate is on par with any point guard prospect in this draft. If the Knicks draft another combo guard? Wait for it cuz by mid-season Nate will wind up forcing a platoon or flat out starting and florishing. Not even the presence of Marbs, Craw, and Francis could kill this mans heart.

The Knicks have bigger problems than replacing a player that already fits and has a spot. The Knicks need help everywhere.......

Bottom line say the Knicks need to hold onto Nate.....DJ Augustine is not going #6. If the Knicks can get another pick in the late lottery then maybe. You don't trade nate to get DJ Augustine. No way.

Long live Nate the great!

I'm open to anything, but I'd like to keep both Crawford and Nate and see if they can both wise up a little bit in whatever role D'Antoni asks them to play. I don't think Nate is as dumb as people say though. He's shown a lot of maturity the past year and it seems like he's making a strong effort. Hence, he, to me, was one of the very very very few bright spots last season.

Give him a go, but at the same time, I'm not down on a trade that helps our future.

I would let him go and start afresh, nate is skilled but needs to go play out west with all his bravado.

Ny needs players with heart but nate has been a sideshow in NY and needs a fresh start.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
