Look how horrible our results are from trading picks over the last 7 years--really by far far and away our worst moves. Like I said unless Denver is dumb enough to want Carmelo Anthony to go[and they wont be] you do the homework and make the pick--if they think that they can move 6 for 10-21--if they think that is in their best interests because of the depth of the draft and the somewhat close level of talent 6-15 or so--then if NJ was interested--then possibly seek it out. But the bottom line is the NY fan wants everything back at once--they cant learn from past mistakes--and NO I dont want to trade Zach Randolph with the pick to someone else. I think that Zach should be tradeable for like a Ben Wallace type of deal where we can wipe off 1 year by itself without possibly throwing in a very good player--we need good players--the technique of trading the pick for an established NBA player hasnt worked out for us. There are several good players that we can add by drafting. Too much downside trading the pick. Id rather the draft pick bust than trad it to be honest with you.

if we can trade the pick, Balkman, Chandler and a future pick for Chris Paul, then I'm in.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Thinking rational......we should probably keep the pick.

Hopefully the Knicks can ship Zach to Philly. That alone could jumpstart the team.

Then again:
Lee and #6
Marbs and #6
Malik #6

That can give us a lot......but should we be so tempted?

depends entirely on who u can trade those packages for.

i wouldn't be dead against trading the pick... if we could unload a ton of cap off our books by doing it, i say go for it, but it would have to be a lot, not just 1 year of Zach's salary for example... i'd wanna get rid of another bad contract & get back some expirings that could help us be a better team next season to give up that pick, cuz if whoever the team gets w/that pick turns out to be a good player we're gonna be kicking ourselves in the butt over it... there has to be something sweet in it for us also, & getting that cap flexibility in the longterm & improving in the short term would do it for me.

We gotta keep the pick. Given the history of the 6th pick, we could be looking at a Felton Spencer type player here.

If we'd only be so lucky!
