Incoming Players Adonal Foyle 6-10 C from Colgate 2.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.2 apg in 9.3 minutes Jameer Nelson 6-0 PG from St. Joseph's 11.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 6.1 apg in 30.5 minutes Keyon Dooling 6-3 PG from Missouri 8.4 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 18.9 minutes Pat Garrity 6-9 PF from Notre Dame 2.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.6 apg in 12.5 minutes Tony Battie 6-11 PF / C from Texas Tech No games yet played in 2007/08 Outgoing Players Mardy Collins 6-6 SG from Temple 1.5 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.1 apg in 10.6 minutes Malik Rose 6-7 PF from Drexel 1.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.3 apg in 10.0 minutes Eddy Curry 6-11 C from Thornwood (HS) 13.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.6 apg in 27.4 minutes I heard the Magic aren't happy with the way Jameer is playing and may bench him soon for Arroyo or Dooling. Only long term contracts are Jameer and Battie(Battie is only 2 years). The other 3 expire at the end of the year.

The trade makes sense from a talent standpoint, for sure. But... why would the Magic want to add Curry when they have Howard already? Howard plays close to the rim, just like Curry and I can see Curry and Howard having the same problems that Curry and Zach are having.

Curry IS a secondary piece if this happens. No force feeding, no sharing. Curry is an offensive threat and that is it. There is no illusion here of building around Curry.

I don't see Orlando doing the deal. Rashard Lewis at PF has been working for the Magic, and they'd have to shift Howard to accommodate Curry. Any franchise that makes a trade to accommodate Curry has a bigger moron at GM than Isiah. I don't see anyone stupider than Thomas designing trades.

I can't see it happening, considering what we give them. Plus, I believe as long as Isiah is in charge of things, it really doesn't matter too much (or won't make too much difference) who we have on this team. Of course, unless it was a bonified all-star.
I'll never trust this' team again.

That's how real GM listed them when I copied and pasted.

battie is damaged goods.....out for the year

foyle has never averaged total playing time in any year over 27 minutes.

not a good trade for both sides

Orlando is giving up way too much and we're giving them far too little.
