Dude, this team is so unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised if Dolan gives him a public vote of confidence. You really just can't tell.

I agree, it does seem impossible to predict, but the signs this time are more ominous than ever. If the Marbury thing doesn't get wrapped up in a way that seems salvageable and the team keeps losing even Dolan will have a hard time keeping the status quo.

i think they're both gone by the weekend.

it's EARLY enough in the season for herb to salvage it...but even if he doesn't, we still have a pick to fall back on.

Only if the rest of the team fails to respond to Isiah. From the look of things last night, the team seems to be on his side and willing to fight hard for him. I'm surprised that more of us haven't taken note of that. I saw friendly banter between the players and they huddled up quite a few times. They may have been down and hurt, but they didn't seem to give up to me. That's the determining factor.

If this team competes hard over the next few games on the road and we eventually get Zach back, then you take stock of how the team does, but not if the team is playing without a good portion of the team and is still fighting. Dolan is a very patient man and I don't think he's to eager to start over just yet.

No. It's going to take a couple of games at the Garden, with Knicks fans being as angry and vociferous as they ever were about Layden, before Dolan realizes that he has no other choice because it's hurting business.

If they go 0-4 on this road trip, they might not win another game until the end of the month or well into December with games against GS, @Det, Chi, Utah, @Boston, Mil, Pho and @NJ.

I think there's a good chance that Isiah doesn't make it to the end of the month and I think it's as good as done that he'll be gone by Christmas.

A Merry Christmas indeed.

I cant wait to pop that bottle of moet. The time is coming and i cannot wait for this lowlife piece of shzit to take a hike. This will be his last job in the NBA
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

No. i think the only way he gets fired is if MSG loses the appeal in the Anucha case, which is like 6 months away.

I don't think MSG will fire him while the Anucha case is still up for appeal, because they don't want it to look like they don't support Isiah's innocence. Stop and think about that for a little while.

I think our only hope as fans is that they lose the appeal and Stern comes down hard on the Knicks, so hard that Dolan is voted off the board at MSG or removed by his daddy.

wishful thinking.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I say yes. Terrible start after a "get in the truck" offseason

His star player blows up, embarrasses him and goes awol

etc etc etc

I'm with Panos. Isiah does not get fired, and in fact, gets an extension for doing such a stellar job of keeping the team together.

As for Isiah and Steph, it must be "kiss and make up" time.

I'm trying to get in Dolan's mind. I think Dolan will give Isiah more time.
I just hope that people will like me

Earl, I texted him earlier today to see what's up and he said he had permission from Isiah to leave the team. He also said that he's coming back to play tonight and then go back to grandma's funeral, because he wants to help the team.
