I don't think it matters at this point. The guy took his ball and went home. You just don't do that.

And I co-sign holfresh's query.

Permission to leave for what. How the hell do you get permission to leave. Did someone die? Are you sick? Coaches don't give players permission to leave because they have a bad attitude. Marbury needs to grow the f**K up. IT also needs to learn some common sense. If he wanted to give Mardy more minutes, he could have let Marbury start and then just pull him after a few minutes. There was no need to make this big controversy over it. Both of them don't have the sense God gave a dog. I was looking forward to this season all summer and after five games I get this ****. They need to fire everybody.

I don't know how to vote.

No way Marbs or Isiah can last the road trip. Somebody has to go. Probably both cuz if marbs is traded or bought out then he is gonna snitch his ass off.

This is a major mess but I seriously can't see marbs and /or isiah making it back to ny as knicks. Its a mess.

whether he pulled him after 2 minutes, or benched him to start the game, it would have been an issue regardless, trust me... is it too much to expect a guy making $20 mil a year to act like a professional & be a team player? obviously it is when it comes to Steph... IMO this is the best thing that could have happened to this franchise, because hopefully once & for all it paves the way for his exit out of NY... this guy has had a dark cloud of negativity over his head ever since he got here, & for this franchise to move forward in a positive direction, we gotta get rid of him.

yeah, I think they'll make up. I think the better question is whether Zeke will be a Knick by the end of the season. I think the Marbury thing will blow over. The Knicks will probably lose every game on this trip and Zeke will probably beg Marbury to come back. The ride of stupidity won't end until Zeke's tenure here does.

Someone has to go, but it never happens this way. Unfortunately, Marbury will probably come back, the Knicks will defeat another good team, everyone will have high hopes again and in the end we will be as inept as ever.

If Marbury and/or Isiah are let go after the trip, then it would actually mean the Knicks are moving in the right direction. But again, remember who is above Isiah.

Of course, the fact that he's off the Knicks banner at the official web site probably gives us the real answer.

But he's no longer on the Knicks banner. So his status is reduced, at the least.

He will still be a Knick.

He should not be a Knick.

I could see and would be an advocate for sending him home indefinitely awaiting trade or buy out. I think it is necessary to ensure that was the last time he had any interaction with the team in any way.

Time to move on......he sure isn't in our future plans anyway. No use trying to bring him back after that.

Isn't/wasn't Steph one of our tri-captains? If so being taken off the banner could only mean one thing im my opinion and it looks like his days as a knick might be numbered. My guess is zeke said something like: "You will do what I tell you off the bench or not and if not u can just go home which is what he did>
