With the apparent end of the Marbury era as the starting 1, who should be the new full time starting PG for the Knicks when all players are 100%? Yo This poll does not include alternatives not on the roster.

no doubt: Mardy. I like Nate off the bench, he just matches up better with the second liners cause of height and speed.

I voted for Nate, although it's not an easy choice. I LOVE Mardy's D, but I'm concerned about his shooting. With Nate we saw some good defense in the first two games, and I think his offensive ability as a scorer, shooter and passer work well. I thought he worked well with Craw as well. I noticed how Crawford's numbers dropped after Nate got hurt. Of course, that doesn't mean this is related, but I saw good cohesiveness on the floor toegether.

Yeah, I believe we did both. Hard to figure what was going on there, but thinking about djsu's comments about Dolan being behind the PG switch, maybe it was Isiah who was questioning Steph as PG in the off-season rather than Dolan, and Dolan who wanted to give Steph a second shot.

I doubt Isiah wishes that. Jordan didn't look NBA ready skill-wise or physically to me. I like his approach to the game though.

Earl, I love Mardy, and after the end of last year I was for him starting, but I was intrigued with Nate's play since summer league. I'm not going to be mad at seeing Mardy start though.

If we are expeccting wins today we may need to go to Jamal. If we are trying to find the pg of the future, my money is on Mardy. At some point we need to find a PG, now is the time to see if mardy an someday become that guy. If not, we know we know we need to draft/trade for one.

I think we need to develop Mardy and Nate. That's a more realistic goal, and Craw is a de facto PG out there anyway. He will share the ball handling especially when we are going to Curry. I think his other PG skills are more questionable and not going to get much better.

I'm with you. At some point we have to find a true PG that can make wise decisions down the stretch.

prez - the most intrugoing thing about Mardy was his ability to make contributions in three stat areas.

Besides, he played for that manaic John Chaney so we know he's disciplined and intelligent enough to work his way up the NBA learning curve. The Knicks don't need flash as much as they need steadiness and consistency at the guard.

Hard to disagree with you here, earl. I love Mardy's Temple roots, and how he plays with a hardened edge. Those 3 areas: steals, rebounding and assists are big. We just need him to work on shooting.

Jamal is garbage and NAte sucks. they shoot too much! CHUCKERS!!

Mardy all the way! Plays defense, rebounds, pass first and stands 6'5. An unselfish player who is only gonna get better

Listen we passed on Williams and then drafted Mardy. It's obvious the vision of Mardy is pretty high so why not give him a go. If none of these guys can hold down the PG spot at least we go into the draft knowing EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED. I'm sure we would then draft a combo-guard that doesn't play D, but at least we would know what we need.

Mardy is by far the better choice right now over shrimp robinson.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Prez - We simply need Mardy to make nice with Zach and Eddy ... and hit the open man. Shooting can be developed over time and by feeding hhis confidence.

I love Collins' size and toughness.

And I like him and David Lee on the dance floor together

Shift Du Jour

Collins - defensive answer from heaven

Crawford - prohibited froom shooting three's or he gets pulled for... Balkman - because you can never have too many defenders and he can make life difficult for any two guard

Chandler - you know why

Zach - Mister Double Double gets his double-double/ David Lee

Curry - smile Eddy smile, even when Jamal is on the pine, waiting his turn
