I went with Zeke remains and have a shorter lease cause like seriously what did Stephon Marbury do in this trial that was so bad that he needed to be traded or waived (remember I basing this on the trial and not the past), people have 1 nighters all the time. Dolan will keep Isiah as long as he can.

If a white GM, with a terrible track record at his job, said "I don't give a f--k about those black people!", would he have a job even
an hour after it was reported?

If you're in any business in America that uses college interns and you use your standing as a high level employee to coerce an intern into having a sexual relationship, is there any way you're still with that company the day after admitting it?

If you're in any business in America that uses college interns and you use your standing as a high level employee to coerce an intern into having a sexual relationship, is there any way you're still with that company the day after admitting it?

The NY Daily News wrote:

Thomas, who bought the league in 1999 and said he was going to turn it into a “Microsoft for basketball,” would curse and threaten to “kick asses” if the teams from Sioux Falls, La Crosse, Boise and other small cities didn’t see things his way.

“He ruled with intimidation,” says Diane Bosshard, who owned the La Crosse (Wis.) Bobcats with her husband Bill before selling to Thomas.

“It was just like, ‘If I swear enough or if I act like I’m tough enough you’re going to back down.’”

“Just the rudest person that I have ever run into in my entire life,” says Rich Coffey, the former GM of the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Fury and now the owner of the Fort Wayne Freedom in the Arena Football League.

“He’s a very poor business person. He doesn’t listen to people. He’s always right. He makes poor decisions, and I’m talking about the CBA in particular.

“Who he listens to are people who tell him what he wants to hear. The fact that he’s still in basketball and running the Knicks just astounds me.”

Thomas . . . ran a 55-year-old league into bankruptcy just as he left to become the head coach of the Indiana Pacers. Most of the old owners and a few new ones bought the league out of Chapter 7and revived it . . .

“The (CBA) owners got their money back, but then there are the employees, the players and the fans who are season ticket holders who got nothing. I worked three or four months without pay after I had worked (with the Fury) for 10 years,” says Coffey, a father of four.

“When I bought the Freedom four years ago, the first thing I said at a press conference with fans was, ‘Isiah Thomas is not involved.’”

There were cheers from the crowd . . .

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I picked nothing will happen as well. The Knicks have made a slight progression last yr. Dolan does not want to take the chance of ****ing that up.

at this point, if dolan comes out, fires mills, isiah, and releases marbury, and holds a press conference apologizing to the fanbase for the drama over the past few years and will do his best to make up for it - he will be lauded by the public.

the chances of that happening are about the same as a female actually showing up to a bippity get together.

Excuse me. I know you weren't at the last get together because you weren't invited but from my recollection the twins were at the last Bippity get together.

I'd like to see Dolan forced to sell the team to someone with a clue, who would then fire isiah and release marbury. Enough of these clowns, they've destroyed nba basketball in NY...too bad this isn't a criminal trial, would like to see isiah punished with more than dollars at stake.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I voted "Zeke remains GM/Coach and absolutely nothing changes" because that was the closest option to what will actually happen.

In addition to being retained as GM/Coach Isiah will:

  • Receive a $1,000,000,000 bonus

  • Receive the MSG "Employee of the decade" award

  • Be named GM/Coach for life

  • Be nominated for a "Management Excellence" Award

  • Be allowed to sing backup vocals for JD & the Straight Shot

https:// It's not so hard.

This trial has nothing to do with the team's on court performance, so why would Isiah be fired and/or Marbury waived?

We do so much hypocritical moralizing in this country. The only thing that matters is wins and losses. Isiah has sold Dolan on his "plan" for winning & making money, so this woman's suit wont impact Isiah's job status at all.

And what does Marbury sexing an intern have to do with anything basketball related?

Now if the crack about not caring about "these white people" turns out to be true, then THAT could be grounds for getting rid of him. Not only is it racial in nature, but, its also showing disrespect to the season ticket holders. That's bad for business.

He'll almost certainly be booed every night at the Garden. And you cant have a President/Coach who shows no regard for the ticket holders.

how any comment can be proven without another witness is beyond me. so we will never know if isiah said what he did unless he admits to it under oath.

Obviously if Isiah said that to Anucka about white people , he must have felt comfortable around her to say it and didn't think that would come back to haunt him.

This power struggle at MSG need to bring brought to a halt.

Lets get a owner who knows how to delegate proper authority to the figure heads in this franchise. Chain of command works in my profession.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

This is yet another reason why i don't believe her. It's just not likely that he'd express himself so openly to someone he viewed as an enemy. Besides which i'd be interested to see what the offices at MSG are like. How private is his office. Does he have an assistant and what is the racial make up of the MSG staff. As large as this company probably is, It's hard to imagine the level of nastiness that she is presenting and there not being witnesses who heard the comments Isiah is accused of making. We'll have to see what if any witnesses are brought forth. If all she has is that intern who clearly has questionable moral judgment herself, then I don't know if she can win. You can't win based solely on he said/she said stuff. Why should they believe her story over MSG's?

When you stop and think about it MSG made lots of progress, Steve Mills MSG VP, Isiah Thomas Knicks VP and Anucha Director of Marketing, Dolan gets my nod as the most progressive owner in sports.

Now these three set us back to the cotton fields with this minstrel sh--. Malcolm X said, "some of us even act like we lost our minds". He ain't lying.

By the way, when anucka lied or told the truth about Isiah saying "I don't give a f--- about these white people", his fate is sealed. He won't last another season here. BOOK IT!
