Zach without a doubt. As a matter of fact I think not only Zach but Kurt Thomas and Oakley had a better jumper than Frye.

I think Frye can have one of the best jumpers in the league at the PF position. I think he lacked the confidence last year to see it through.
I just hope that people will like me

Curious to me why Frye didn't develop his range a few more feet. 3 point range would be a major addition to his repertoire

3 point range can not help you when you do not have a good head fake or the ability to shake your man. If Frye was in 3 point range his man would probably be able to play pressure d on Frye because Frye's drive is weak.

That was Fryes best game of the year by far. If we only judged by that game than Frye could be a hall of famer.

Frye shot is prettier but Zach is much more aggressive shooting his.

All conditions have to be perfect for Frye to shoot the ball fer crissakes...
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I agree. Frye needs room. He has to learn to move without the ball and have teammates set screens. Zach can create.

Randolph, Frye shot %40 when it came to jumpers last year.
some Knick fans accept mediocrity as excellence .... I don't!

I think Zach has the more effective jumper because he can get it off in traffic, moving, off the dribble, and from 3.

Fryes may be purer, but he has feet of stone and if his man is guarding him, he is neutralized. I liked Frye alot though, and think hes still gonna be a really good player.

frye's got a better pure jumper and if he gets his head together on the court he's going to be a very effective player.

that being said i'd way rather have zach. he’s just a greet low-post scorer and has some range on his shot as well. dude can rebound and he's not the black hole that some make him out to be. he's not much on d, but neither was channing. if channing ever developed into a 24 point, 10 rebound 2 assist player people would piss in their pants over him (me included). but hat's a major if given what he looked like last year. zach's already there.

Frye was looking like Allan Houston as rookie, and hes damn near 7 feet. His shot was pretty automatic if he was open.

"if he was open".

If my mother had balls she would be my father.
