I think I would go with Ranolph, He has more scoring ability and is a better rebounder though he comes with more baggage.

I can't believe I'm taking Eddy Curry over another frontcourt player but Zach Randolph is about the only guy I'd take him over. Even though Curry plays no defense, atleast he's not a team-killer like Zach.

Curry is cheaper & we don't read about him getting into trouble.

I'd have to go with Curry. He's lazy, but at least he's showing some progress and his ceiling is MUCH higher.

Randolf is currently the much more polished and better player though, and if Curry continues to remain out of shape, it could remain that way.

Randolph can rebound (there is a LOT of difference between getting 10 and 7 rebounds per game), and while he is not the most intelligent player in the league, he looks like Einstein compared to Curry. Also, while Randolph is not Hakeem at passing the ball, he averages almost three times the assists Curry gives. Randolph can make free throws. And so he gets 5 millions of dollars more than Curry??? In should be stupid to not be that way. The only thing Curry is better is shotblocking, 0.22 bpg to 0.49 bpg (wow, almost like comparing Mutombo to Hakeem) turnovers and personal fouls. Oh, and yes, he is two inches taller, which does not translate into anything at this point.
I dont hate Curry, but I dont think he should be getting more than 25 minutes a night considering what he brings to the table. So my choice is Randolph.

Zach's scoring improved about as much last year as Eddy's. And unlike Eddy's scoring increase, Zach's can't be attributed to an increase in playing time (as his playing time was about the same as the previous 3 seasons). The personality issues about Zach are legitimate concerns. I'm not sure Eddy's lazy personality is much more appealing, though. This question is really asking which seat on the Titanic would you prefer to sit in.

Centers are harder to find plus Curry shoots around 58% to Zachs 44%. Zach is only really like 6-8 also but why vote one over the other? Be thankful we have both. Did the Celtics say who should we keep Mchale or Parrish since they both can score in the post? Did Detroit say who should we keep Isiah or Dumars since they both can give you 20ppg?

It was Curry 10-1 before i voted Randolph. Now the gap has closed.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I think it's more a question of which player are they "less low" on

Eddy is better persone. Zach is better bbal player
I will go with better persone.
And Eddy is not lazy - he is big and this all bbal stuff is difficult for him.
Don't forget he had some health scares. This is not easy to remove from you mind.
I hope Zack will help to take some minutes out of Eddy. Eddy can be much more afficient in 20-25 min and help on defense in limited minutes

Can Zach Randolph and David Lee co-exist on the floor in a more uptempo offense?

Can Randolph Morris and Zach Randolph provide another twist in the frontourt?

If this is truly a team sport, why not simply look past a narrow Eddy Curry comparison?
