God, it kind of depends on the health of Q to make the pieces fit.

That's scary
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

well I see us winning 1-5 more games, and those games are more of a factor of the gang having 1 more year of experience together. however from a performance standpoint, I see basically the same team as last year. down by double figures early, unable to close out close games, poor overall D, no shotblocking, inconsistent shooting, turnover mania, etc, so those 1-5 games really won't mean anything. but I do see the tiny improvement numerically.

I put 6-9 more wins. I think Zach will help in the win department more than people realize. I DON'T think this is the way to build a championship team, but it is the way to build a 40ish win team.

we probably should have won 5 more games this year before things fell apart. If adding Zach doesn't add 5 wins with his contract, Isiah needs to be fired.

Moves like this are the reason we can never be in the running for franchise players. Randolph isn't an asset. Sure, he's an upgrade over Frye and Francis, but at $61 Mil. over 4 years, he severely hamstrings our salary situation. There is no shot we get a franchise player over here.

We'll probably win 5-8 more games. I just don't see this team headed in the right direction. Randolph and Curry will not provide any interior defense.

You've got to be kidding me if you don't think adding Zach doesn't guarantee 10+ more wins than this year. We would've won more next season even if we had the same team, just having another season of playing together under the same coach would've helped the team to improve, now with a real force at PF that can remain on the floor and keep our inside/out game going when Curry is on the bench, we'll definitely win 10 more games!

With David Lee, Balkman, Mardy and Zach on the floor we'll still be able to give teams problems. We won't have to go with a traditional Center when the 2nd team is in there, so Lee will still get his minutes. This team is loaded with talent and I believe that it will start to show next year. Let's not kid ourselves here. Teams can win without great defense. We'll be a stong offensive team and I think we'll defend enough to win. More minutes for Lee, Balkman & Mardy.

9 more wins max. Too many question marks. Will we stay healthy? Will Eddy and Zack share the ball? Will anyone defend up front? 42 wins is about the ceiling.

So last yr before the season started you had the team at 45,46 win range if everything went right. We've added Zach and he's a +10gm advantage. We won 33gms last yr so now you have us locked at 43 wins. Went from a 45 46win team to a 43 win team. This is all conditional, barring no injuries.

The bottom line on this is, the Knicks were better then a 33 win team last year. Are you really thinking the Knick team that closed the season without Crawford, Lee, Richardson and even Marbury at the end of the season is at all representitive of what they really were? If so thats foolish. with health alone, the Knicks probably win 5 more games last year, so Id say they were about a 38 win caliber team who won 33 because of injuries. Dont forget that when healthy last year the Knicks had a 43 game stretch (over a half season sample size) where they went 23-20

I also felt that before the Randolph trade was ever made, the Knicks had a chance through maturation alone to improve to a level where they are a .500 caliber basketball team.

I thought this team would win 41-42 BEFORE the Randolph deal was ever made. With the deal, I think we have a team who can win 45 games. This is gonna be a lot better team next year then a lot of people here seem to think. Maybe losing for 7-8 years in a row get people to the point where they are always negative. This team will suprise a lot of people here. They wont suprise me though. 45 wins, write it down

The reason I say 10 more wins is this.

In games when Curry would get in foul trouble early and the oppossing team was playing good Defense on our perimitter or we weren't knocking down shots in a close game we needed another sure low post guy to make defenses play honest on our shooters.

Frye wasn't tht guy and we couldn't depend on anyone on the roster to be that low post guy for us.

Now we have added Randolph and Demetris Nichols to help in both of those areas= 10 more wins
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Well... 75% of us see us getting more Ws next year.

25% of us are thinking we'll win 43+ games.

So it seems like even the most optimistic Knick fan is still only seeing this as a 7 or 8 seed in the playoffs. Maybe thats enough to shock someone and advance to the 2nd round or even the ECF in this league of parity.

Its not championship caliber though and thats what we all want.

More moves must be made.
