win and be competitive in the playoffs as a legitimate contender.
Winning 40 games is worse than winning 23, unless you trade your draft picks in consecutive years, in which case its just equally as bad.

So you are the type that miraculously becomes a spurs fan, piston fan, laker fan, Miami fan, depending on who wins the championship?

That's just stupid. Championship for the Knicks first. You know what he meant.

It's a cliche but it serves to simplify the matter: I root for the name on the front of the Jersey not the back.

I want Knicks to win.
I have an opinion why they cannot win most of the time.
I think there are some people who are the reason for losing most of the time
I want this people to lose big time and get out of our way forever
Fair enough.

The phrase "man up" annoys the hell put of me too. Used it to get some spirited responses.

I think we all can say this is isiah's last hurrah. He has the draft and the off-season to take the knicks a step further. We gota give him that much. If he improves the team the record will show. If it does then its all good.

Back to the injury converstion. I believe the knicks would have made the playoffs if half the roster wasn't out down the stretch. This season the playoffs are a must. If they can maintain some type of health next season, along with the new additions, with the chemistry and same coaching, why can't these guys win?

No way would I want the team to lose so some heads would roll. How is that fun?

I think I see where Enyspree is coming from. The board has become very negative. I think we have good reasons to be negative, but it's become kinda repetitive and boring. It probably sounds like we like the Bulls or something. I think they've done a good job with that team, and I don't think it's just luck, but it took the Bulls a long time to get there, post MJ.

One reason for the obsession with the bulls is that they got our first round pick last year, and they get it this year. This is so ironic when Isiah's one clear strength is the draft! But it's kind of a masochistic thing to go on and on about the Bulls' success when you're a Knicks fan.

Maybe I should take a break from posting for a while.

Why would you say that when he was just given a multi-year extension?

Because that multi-year part doesn't really matter. I have seen coaches get fired after year 1 of their multi-year contract.

Of course I want them to win. Injuries stunted our growth....yeah injuries are a part of the game but we had 6 contributing players out because of injuries or illness. I believe that they will be better next season. I believe that they are still two years from becoming consistently good. It takes time, next year will be better but inconsistent and subsequent years will show improvement.....it takes time.

Why would anyone in they're right mind want them to lose. You can say' they'll lose, knowing the kind of team that might be on the floor, but it doesn't necessarily mean you want' them to lose, just to wish they'll lose. That's not being a Knick fan! A knick fan can root for the team, but because some are so passionate about having a winning team out there, it's healthy to speak out against them and/or management when the near future isn't looking very good. Some of us are brutal, yes, I myself am guilty, but that's my way. Some of the 'man-up, as you say, because some know better than to think this team can first make the playoffs, take it to the end and win it all, that's a part of manning up, by being honest. But the logic has to match up to what is on the floor. If it does not, then you have to say' what is on the floor and that has got to show in the stats, either individual and the kind of record it all adds up to. If Thomas overwhelming loses in about three and a half years is a good record, then my math is pretty bad. I for one am' pretty stupid, but I'm not that dumb.

Strange question with an obvious answer.
I'll never trust this' team again.
