JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I didn't expect anything from JJ, JJ2 or Francis so they didn't let me down. Jamal has been solid but erratic which is exactly what I expected. Eddie is the same player he's been his entire careeer outside of a slight improvement offensively.

But in terms of me expecting somehting and not getting it, I would have to say Channing Frye has let me down the most. I expected him to step up in talent and with attitude and he has instead gone into a shell. Not sure how he is not on the list.
I just hope that people will like me

Why aren't there more options? I would choose Channing Frye in an instant. While I already knew he was picked about 10 spots higher than he should have been in the draft, I still hoped he would prove me wrong and play like a 4yr college, 8th pick in the draft type player.

Frye by a mile and a half. Quentin has been great for us when he's playing, but how one couldn't expect an injury plagued season from him is mind boggling. His back is that F'ed up.

Anyone putting down Q is nuts. The guys was playing great until his back acted up. Frye on the other hand has been a huge letdown. If he played up to his potential all year things may have been better. We needed him to play well and he just couldn't do it. Still I also blame Isiah for that too. He never gave the kid a role. He just has him out there floating and picking up garbage points. Whenever we feature him, he does well. Much like when we give Balkman a chance he usually shines. Frye is not a guy that you can just leave out there and not involve him and he'll still produce. You have to get him touches and keep him in the mix. That part of it is Isiah's fault. I still think he's gonna get it together at some point, which is why I wouldn't rush to trade him. His stock is low right now anyway. Best to give it another shot next year and see what he does. He can't play worse, so i'd expect him to improve a bit and that may be just enough to make him good trade bait.

how many players do we have that do things to help the team when they don't get touches and are kept in the mix offensively?

Not every player is the same. Some of them are Balkman types who are better if you just let them hustle. Feature Balkman as an offensive option and I think you will be as disappointed as trying to make Frye play the Balkman game.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Frye not in this poll makes no sense. Its and impossible oversight.

Nixluva - getting touches will get frye off? So should we send him to the big mans camp in the summer or the never land ranch?

Isiah is giving frye his opportunities cuz there is no other choice. If frye can't come through what is isiah supposed to do?

At the begining curry was playing terrible. Isiah went to frye and curry. Curry is the guys that was pulling off 20pt games at 60% a clip.

Case closed on the frye needs touches debate. Frye still gets his fair opportunities. When curry doesn't have it, isiah has looked for him.

Aside from posting him, frye has plenty of chances at second chance baskets and kick outs. Channing doesn't show a desire or ability to want to do that.

There are no excuses for channing. He has been a major let down to his family and other women around the world with the name channing.

yeah, it's Frye.

I can't say Lee, Craw or QRich did for getting injured. I wish Marbury had come out of the gates stronger, but he's been trying all year.

Francis is an obvious let down, but I never expected anything from him anyway.

wow. Frye 100%. I loved this kid last year.

and why are Q and Jamal on that list? they have been two of the most consistent players on this team (I know that's still not saying much, but it's true)
^precocious neophyte.
