The news of David Lee's bone bruise makes it tough. With Craw also out and no news about when to expect Q back, the Knicks will be competing without two or three of the team's best players. What do you think the team's chances of making the playoffs are?

It really depends on other teams in the race, the knicks are a win one lose one type of team haven't won more than 3 in a row this season.

I put 60%.

A combo of the other teams falling and now the Knicks are going to be forced to heavily lean on Steph, Francis, and Curry. 2 former all-stars, and an up and coming big man.

DO I think it'll be easy, no. but I think that it is very possible-especially the way Steph is playing. If he and Curry can learn to mesh and Francis is option 2b we have a chance to be in good shape.

I think its a toss up- 50/50. Although we're hurt some now- other teams (orlando/indiana) are not playing well- and have been very poor of late.

Even though this team has yet to win 3 in a row, they've started to develop real chemistry and have not given up-

NJ is major threat right now.

I put it at 60%. Orlando and Indiana are done. But we have to worry about teams like Philly and Atlanta now too. We basically need to continue to play .500 ball but also need to beat Toronto, Indiana, and New Jersey at least once. The head-to-head matchups are key.

it has as much to do w/how ORL & NJ plays down the stretch as what the Knicks do... i don't see the Knicks going on any kind of winning or losing streak, so depending if those other 2 teams keep playing .500 level ball, then the Knicks have a decent shot at getting in.

I would say 40%
It will be clearer in 3-4 games
It is mute point now after IT extension.
How he will adjust the strategy and how players respond to less pressure situation?
This is the key.

how 'bout this Marv, i'll bet you one "fruity" ****tail of your choice at Dallas BBQ that the knicks slip into the playoffs, not soo much b/c of their great play and rally around IT's extension, but moreso b/c Indy, Orlando and the Nets are just SUCKING it up right now.

^^ Oooh, that was completely unnecessary. Anyway... I would put it at 50%. Orlando has fallen off the map. They're trash right now. Other teams are too far back. Thank god Dwight Howard doesnt play in NY. You guys would already have him shipped out for Kevin Martin, Josh Smith, or some other flavor of the month.
