I've been rooting for this dude for the entire year and I've been convince by the UK Mafia. This kid sucks...but WHY?

victim of the "what have you done for me lately" club. isiah reduced his role to brian cook. and b/c of that, his confidence is shot. now you know where the "soft" label comes from. dude has no place here with franchise superduperstar eddy.

I wanted to add another option being it's lee, because he's pressing trying to prove that he's better than lee, but these three will do.

is it really that simple?

he's on the court playing the same position as lee...I find it hard to believe he doesn't have the mental capacity to box out, see the man and the ball and HUSTLE.

I mean, maybe some players just need to be the focus to excel?

How can he see everyone else out there going all out and he's just seemingly going through the motions.

Has he heard of the term "pump fake and take it to the hole"?

Yeah, You are right, I'm jaded and disappointed and think it has something to do with the richard jefferson gay rumors and the fact that he used to hang out at his place all the time.

I think DJ is partially right..I think Isiah screwed his head by using him primarily as a jump shooter early on and now they rarely run plays for the kid...I think Frye is a kid that needs to be involved to be effective..It just pains me to see him standing in the corner waiting for the chance to take a jump shot...He has skills and I'm afraid if he don't get the time here he will develop elsewhere...His points per game is less than last year but every other category is exactly the same...I think Isiah needs to find a way to use this guy and do it quickly...He is playing so soft right now, I can't really see him turning it around right now by the end of the season...

I think he has some skills, he's got a great jumpshot but he doesn't do the things that big men need to do to be successful in the NBA. I saw a guy in college who never really got better, he came into Arizona as a good player and left as a good player, he never really improved and thats continued in the NBA. He has a great work ethic, I'm not doubting that and he seems like he's got a great head on his shoulders, which makes me want to see him get better. I just don't think he will.
