Yeah, I wrote in the other thread that I'm not sure LA would do the deal even without Odom included. I think they have higher expectations for Odom than for any of the players we'd be giving them.

No way LA does that trade. They wouldn't do Frye + Jeffries for Odom -- maybe last year, not this year. I also don't see them exchanging Bynum for Curry unless they're getting a first rounder or something else to sweeten the pot. In order to do that trade, I think you have to swap out Jeffries for a much sweeter piece. I'd say QRich if could stay healthy. I don't think we have that extra piece to sweeten the pot unless you want to give up DLee. But if I'm trading for Bynum and Odom, I'm getting them to play next to DLee, because that would be one hell of a front line.

I wish Odom was a knick. Just a good solid player.

How about Curry, Craw, Frye & CHI's pick for Odom, Bynum & Radmanovich?

Rado's been sort of a bust for them this year, & his contract runs the same length as Craw's... he would add a 3 pt threat to help stretch the D for the Knicks, while the Lakers beef up tremendously in the low post, which will help to open things up for Kobe on the perimeter... Lakers also get an upgrade over Smush to run the backcourt w/Kobe & a 1st round pick... Knicks get a more defensive minded young C along w/an upgrade at the SF
