Durant is a ridiculous talent. Inside scoring, outside scoring, pure shooter, plays defense, blocks shots... And he's 6'9 which means matchup advantages everywhere when he's on the floor. He's going to be a very very very special palyer.

a center with the ability to score and do nothing else is pretty hard to find I cant really think of another player in history like him. However I'd rather not have him on my team. Durant please

i'd have expected isles or MS to respond w/something like that.

btw, if i don't think Durant is the next KG, i SURE as hell wouldn't even put him in the same sentence as Jordan.

he looks more like a young shorter version of Rasheed Wallace w/o the attitude to me... i wouldn't say he's a can't miss franchise calibre talent because IMHO he simply doesn't possess all that much of an advantage physically over other guys playing the same position in comparison to his skillset... a guy like KG, TMac, Penny... those guys all had physical advantages over other guys in the NBA playing the same positions because of their ability to handle the ball like a PG & their freakish athleticism & length... Durant is an athlete, no question, but i don't see him head & shoulders standing out over other 6'9" PF's who are lottery calibre players.

TMS just because you braindead sometimes and can't realize Curry is going to be what curry is now his entire career, and his improvement ceiling is closing down on him, because he just doesn't care, isn't a reason to say i make outlandish ignorant claims....

The knock on him from his Bulls teammates was that he didn't really try and only played the game because of money goes along way to explain his defensive game. A friend of mine is good friends with Deng and said that they resented the fact he didn't work hard, and they said he had the heart problems because he took ephedra based supplements in order to cash in during his contract year.....you can say i am full of ****, please do but the fact remains he has only been in shape once in his entire career, the contract year......

And if I could have Thomas/Foye/Roy and Durant over Curry any fan that possesses a brain would take it. Curry as seen last night shrinks anytime he is against the best for the most part and isn't well rounded enough or doesn't care enough to contribute on defense......

The teams young talent isn't good enough to take the team anywhere and the baby bulls are a big reason for our struggles. As breath taking as Crawford can be he is one of the worst defensive players at the guard spot and him and curry usually combine for 7 turnovers and zero defense, they are only effective when they have the ball and are going for their own offense..... If Curry cared I might take him over Durant but he doesn't, and never will. He isn't close to an allstar, and this franchise can't depend on him.

MS, just do me a favor & ignore my posts from now on... i seriously don't feel like dealing w/your moronic comments on a daily basis.

Another question, who would you take: Oden or Durant???? Man, tough call I think. If Shaq and Garnett were in the same draft, who would you take?

I love Durant but I'll take the rookie Center over the rookie SF

It would be nice to see memphis and new orleans get 1 and 2 instead of somoene in the east
