I don't even think this one is close, I love Eddy but Okafur is not going to turn the ball over as much and doesn't need 18 shots a night. Not to mention he is a shot blocker. He dominates the paint and changes a ton of shots something eddy really has to do. I would def move Eddy for him straight up.

Protecting the paint is much more important than just putting up stats. That being said Eddy is a great offensive player and a lot of teams would be lucky to have him.....

Agreed. Put this poll in any nonknick forum and you'll get a huge majority for Emeka.

I chose Emeka. I've wanted him since he graduated from Uconn and while he isn't a scoring beast like Curry, he will still score 15-20ppg and grab you 10+ rebounds and block 2.5 shots, overall Emeka is a much better player.

Emeka. My dream frontcourt is Curry/Emeka though

Here's a great view of what fans of teams around the league think:

Brezec is the starting center for the Bobcats.

True, but he listed May vs. Frye/Lee. Okafor had to be in there somewhere.

But you're right...

anyway, no question, Okafor is a stud, Curry has been good, but Okafor plays on all sides of the court.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Okafor isn't the dominant offensive player that Curry already is. The way Curry opens up the court for his teammates is amazing. I don't Okafor will ever develop into the same type of offensive force that Curry is (and Curry still has lots of room to improve too).

Okafor is all-NBA level quality on defense, while Curry is merely average (and I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt!). Curry has lots of room to improve defensively, but he doesn't seem to have the instincts to be a truly dominant defender.

So, who would you rather have in a year or two? Curry averaging 24/9/1apg/1bpg as a #1 option on offense, or Okafor averaging 18ppg/12rpg/1.5apg/3bpg (and having occassional bouts of back spasms) as a 2nd or 3rd option on offense?

True, I just noticed May a little more and they played an equal number of minutes. Also Ok4 was mostly on Curry(if I remember correctly).

but I'll pop up a couple more polls to even that out...

My entire point of this(as in all the polls) was to just get a general concensus to unscientifically prove of Isiah was right in that the Bobcats were a better team than the Knicks.
