Which player whould you rather have on your team-and pardon if this seems a little weak, but I think these two choices are close.

too early too tell. Might be Howard if develops into a consistently dominant bigman. If he does I'll easily take the bigman

I voted Howard. I think he can just murder people down low. I love Lebron, but I'd rather have the big man.

I voted for James. Howard is great and will get better. But Lebron is already playing at a level very, very few have ever obtatined at least statistically and I think with a better team around him he would already being viewed as a Jordan, Magic, Bird type player.

So did I, basically for the same reasons. I guess we're the only 2 who voted for him so far!

I'm surprised. I figured the vote would overwhelminly favor James.

Michael Jordan had never played with a low post presence who could consistently score. He could do it all and just needed Pippen and some other role players. Howard will be the type of player who will need another real good player or 2 around him. LeBron has those Jordan like qualities so I give the nod to him.

I think it's easier to build around a guy like Howard than a guy like Lebron. Howard gives you a defensive and offensive anchor.

Howard owns the paint but I'm not sold on his offense. I don't see him as a go-to guy on the post, whereas you can go to LeBron when you need buckets down the stretch.

I went with Lebron because a wing player like him, or jordan or wade, can have a broader impact in terms of attacking a defense and then getting good shots for team mates.

Howard, as a big, can do the same thing but I think you need a stronger supporting cast because bigs can be taken out of the game with doubles and bigs typically aren't great passers.

if there was an expansion draft where the pool consisted of every player in the league, i guess the draft would go like this:

1. lebron
2. wade
3. dwight
4. melo?

I'd throw Chris Paul in there. Dirk, too. Yao, too.

AMEN. The reason Lebron won't win without a bigman the way Jordan did 6 times is because he's not even close to being in Jordan's league defensively. You want to get Lebron a championship you better add a true PG and a star bigman

Conversely, if you want to get Howard a championship you better add a player or two who you can go to in the clutch. Howard is more KG than he is Duncan.

I love Howard but I'd take lebron. He's like magic in that you could play him at any position on the court and he'd contribute. Also, like Magic, he's not the purest scorer in the game, but he can get what you need.

are you crazy, you put lebron on this team in couple of years curry and lee are going to be monsters, if there were any ****ing good gms in this league lebron might have won a championship already.....

Larry Hughes over Joe Johnson? Cavs would win the East if they made that signing

Carlos Boozer fiasco? That one set that franchise back years....\

Snow, Wesley, Z, Damon Jones that is seriously scary

Howard is awesome but Lebron can do it all and if you put him on the magic everyone would be better

Howard is still only 21 and much bigger than KG. I agree Howard will need some help from the perimeter but Lebron will need a lot more help imo. The cavs will never get pass the conference finals because the team with the elite bigman will always win and if he ever does he will lose to the team in the West with the dominant bigman. Do you guys think Magic would've won 4 championships without Kareem & Worthy? Lebron needs a lot of help because he is not Jordan

Who was the last big man to win a championship without a great supporting cast besides Hakeem? Dwight needs a lot of help because he's not Hakeem.

Lebron... he's Michael's heir to the throne... he just needs a Scottie Pippen type sidekick to take some of the defensive load off his shoulders & he'll win you championships.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Lamar Odom? Oh, right, defensive load. Never mind.
