hey, we saw what a team without a legitimate post threat looked like last night. you really want to give up on Curry when he is our only legit post threat? should Portland have given away Zach Randolph last year? or been patient with the big fella? I think they're happy with a little patience.
different scenario. Zach has already proven to be a 20/10 player. That was a guy coming off an injury who's has attitude problems. Curry is fat guy with work ethic problems. Zach was awarded a contract because of his play. Curry was given one based on potential.
True, Randolph is a proven, borderline dominant scorer. But he has a lot of the same downsides as Curry - attitude, conditioning, defense. I think it's worth it to try and work with these guys. And I think Curry has less of an attitude problem.
