who would you rather have for this team, kendrick perkins or eddy curry? curry, age 23 season (not including tonight): 10 games, 10 starts, 30 mins, 13.7 pts, 6.5 rebs, 0.6 asts, 3.2 TO's, 0.2 stls, 0.4 blks, 54% fg tonight: 21 mins, 7 pts (2-9), 7 rebs, 0 ast, 1 TO, 0 stls, 0 blks, 22% fg perkins, age 22 season (not including tonight): 9 games, 7 started, 21 mins, 5.7 pts, 5.7 rebs, 0.9 ast, 1.3 TO's, 0.2 stls, 1.9 blks tonight: 27 mins, 3 pts (1-2), 8 rebs, 2 asts, 0 TO's, 1 stl, 4 blks

Perkins with 2 blocks a game in 21 minutes? Definately something we could use...

Curry has infinately more talent, but Perkins is a better fit for this team. He can be Wallace-like at times.

for what curry is giving us I think perkins can do the same, but perkins goes for the ball like a beast, and he attempts to protect the lane, while lard ass curry watches.... and watches.... Right now I don't even want to talk about curry.. what a mistake bY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I fimrly believe Curry will never live up to his potential, I don't see Perkins as a special talent. But sometimes its better to have someone who at least tries every night.

We've been just as successful lately, if not more so, force feeding Curry the ball 3 feet away from the basket off a drive (ala Nazr) as we have been letting him do his own thing. It doesn't take overwhelming talent to finish on the open dunk, might as well have a guy who can contest a few shots and fight for some rebounds.

Curry will be a much better player, but a lousy fit for this team as constructed. I sadly found my self praying that they kept JJ in the game last night instead of Eddy.

Perkins is a very poor man's Danny Fortson (not now, I'm talking in his prime)... i'd take Curry in a heartbeat.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
