Would you cheer more for the team if Marbury and Isiah left? I ask because I'm wondering how many fans just want a regime change even more than wins this season. Which is more more important to you as a fan this year?

Bump for more votes please. :)
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

i'd cheer the same for this team regardless of who was on it... i'm a Knick fan for life... but i'd be a helluva lot more optimistic if Marbury were no longer here.

Is this even a question? These 2 guys along with Francis and Curry have absolutely killed my love for this team. I want them G-O-N-E. GONE.

I said no but your question is misrepresenting my sentiments. I say no because I will root for the team no matter what even though I do not think Isiah and Marbury are the answer.

I'm sure I know who the one guy who voted to keep Marbury and Isiah is. Anyone who voted 'no' is a tool. No offense, guys.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Yes. There is no doubt in my mind that I would. I think that would be when I could start cheering for the team as opposed to individuals on the team who seem to get it.

Why is that amazing? This team is going nowhere under Isiah and it's time for a change. What is the use of delaying the inevitable?

I usually ignore and read past your posts because I've come to the conclusion that you must be a teenager and don't know what the hell you're talking about.

but after reading you post here...and the ones in the past...you should have your name changed.

Losing was not explicitly mentioned. We just want change... now.

I want ISiah and Marbury to stay. Both are proven winners and its only a matter of time before this gets on track. Marbury makes other guys better. He's the glue that keeps this together. Isiah's eye for talent rivals that of anyone in the league.

And dont forget, We are getting Lebron.

but in order for the change to happen, the Knicks would have to continue losing...right?

Depends on management's patience level. After so many years of losing, you'd think it would be getting thin, no?

No matter what, we're probably not making the playoffs this year, and we're not winning a championship anytime soon, agreed? That being the case, I'd rather have a plan to get VERY GOOD for the future, rather than aim for mediocrity. We've been mediocre for too long. This team isn't good enough to carry us to that next level... and it won't be, unless we get some legitimate stars. We have none. It's a long term process, and any attempts to shortcut it have failed. It's time to lick our wounds, accept the reality of the NBA, and make a plan to move forward.

Winning *now* isn't my primary concern, if it pays off in a few years.

make the playoffs? We probably arent even a .500 at HOME.

Isiah's regime has bled the enthusiasm right out of me. I just dont care. I dont get up for games. These players dont excite me. I see overpaid babies that dont play hard. We get embarrased most nights. We are down double digit leads most nights. We have one win against the worst team in the league. The other is when a guy hits everything and scores 20 plus chucking away. Hey.. its going to happen once a month.

As much as I hated the job Layden did those players played hard and were in almost every game. It was usually during crunchtime when just playing hard isnt enough and talent wins ball games that those teams fell short. We get blown out of every first quarter because WE DONT PLAY HARD.

Then when the guys give an honest effort for say 20 minutes I have to listen to Isiah talk about how "close" we are getting.

Please... its pathetic

I've been rooting for the Knicks for close to 50 years. That doesn't depend on who's in what role. That being said, we need to get a sane gm.

I always cheer for the team but given all the bad water under the bridge I believe some will cheer even harder if they see a fresh start.
