Should be interesting... here are some ideas... I think #4 is most likely but i would like to see #3 but i dont think it will happen.. I dont really want Jrose taking any minutes away from anyone unless QRich is playing horrible again.

Other possibilities include:

1. Isiah sees another second round prospect that he likes and decides to trade it for an expiring max deal for next season thus securing the 21st pick in the draft for 22 million dollars so he can draft someone not in the media guy

2. Jalen teams with John Starks to beg people to renew and purchase future season ticket holders, posing for a lot of pictures and signing jersey

3. Provides color commentary without humor, asking and answer awful questions, for MSG and the Best Damn Sports show

4. Jalen is dimed out by Chris Webber for accepting unspecified funds while he was playing professional at Michighan (Jalen goes to jail and the knicks recieve salary relief and a trade exception)

5. Jalen complains that Larry Brown has ruined his confidence and as a result he will no be in the rotation this year

Jalen as color commentator would be awesome!


I think what will happen is this:

1) if the Knicks are over or around .500 at the break and things are going well, Dolan will allow Isiah to explore trades with him.

2) if things go badly, Jalen will be waived or allowed to expire, depending on how vocally upset he is.

in any case, I don't see him playing unless Qrich or Jefferies are injured.

I don't think so. I really think Isiah is on a short leash.

remember, he's said repeatedly that he didn't WANT to coach. remember his face on that MSG special report? he looked like a "dead man walking" to quote that pathetic excuse of a coach we once had.

I dont know what will happen with him but I HOPE he doesn't get traded.

He really doesn't fit into any type of plan here. I am with swish I hope they just let that contract come off the books or cut him if he doesn't play this year and becomes a problem. No more hefty contracts. Let the fiscal sanity continue.

If the Knicks cut Jalen Rose, that's actually 3 friggin' contracts coming off the books this year in Taylor, Rose and don't forget Allan Houston. That would be nice for a change. Lets not get our hopes up though.


Don't forget, when Isiah was coach, the Pacers traded Rose away for Artest. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded again, regardless.
