See, I think it's a decent idea, but it's the real dumb opinions that also sometimes bring me some comical relief. So as much as I think some posters are really annoying, I'd have to say no.

Actually, even though I voted, I'd like to take it back. I just realized there are some real annoying posters who don't even bring comical relief so yes, I am in favor of the ignore feature. Reverse my vote.

No. C'mon guys...There are some enormously annoying posters here (I don't need to name them), but it would be mighty weird to have some guys know who do know what's going on with part of a conversation and other guys that didn't because they were ignoring posters. And how weird would it be for one person to reply to a post and have the other guy not be able to reply because he was ignoring him?

And as petty as some arguments get here, just imagine the backlash when one poster finds out he's being ignored by another.

Anyway, I think it opens up a can of worms that's simply just not worth it here.

That's my point. If I'm trying to tell bipity that he is gay, and he is ignoring me. How corny is that?

Sometimes I want to ignore isles, but if I do then I'm gonna miss about 80% of what guys are talking about, lol.

Also if we are to have a get together, how will that work out. If guys are ignoring each other yet meet face to face at a get together. I know for a fact any of the guys that showed up last time would throw a comment at that. Now you can't ignore that person.

I just think its something that should not happen. The only possitive is Martin and Andrew don't have to moderate as much.

If there was an ignore function all this marbury and Larry brown debate would have been non existant.

No to this filter option.

If you are that shallow and you need a place where you are always right, then go for it.

no biggie to me, I often wonder why islefat even responds randomly and viciously as he does...if anybody needs it, it's the posters.

maybe allow us to select users from seeing our posts.

The world would be a better place if islesfat could only see hate posts. but we'd still see his response...or something like that.
