I figure since that Ward comment is less relevant now and that in the post LB era, this was more appropriate, although I know Martin wont like this, I figure lets try to drum up some popular support for a quote from a player who we almost unanimously like and respect as a good kid. Who cares about Charlie Ward and Steph is so irrelevant at this moment in time. This is about the rookies, Curry, Isiah & LB. We should have a quote that addresses some of what is going on right now.

It's stupid. All it is is more Larry Bashing and he's gone. He didn't ruin the franchise in one year. Not even Isiah or Layden or DOlan could do that.

Its not Larry bashing, its one respected player's take on the season. Do you think he's lying about it? Do you think the other 12 players who said the same thing are lying about it also?

I voted yes. Because I do believe, like many others here, that the players who have been so postive and vocal as of late are really putting their butts on the line. Channing will be held accountable if he is still the confused deer in headlights defender that he looked like most of last year. So put the quote up, the players are here to play. Let's see 'em play with a players coach.

No, I think the other 12 players are making excuses, but hey, I think Larry was just as crappy and I'll even say he deserved to get fired for the some of the crap that went on. But that's OVER. Isiah is not the Saint that the the youngies are implying and Larry is not the devil child that some of the posters here imply.

all season long, all i ever heard LB say was that he only demanded his players to play hard, play defense & play unselfish.

i guess that was way too much to demand of some guys.

All the players have said in so many words that Brown gave up on them from day one. The evidence is the 82 game season we all saw.....

Even after the season is over and Brown is no the coach....."the track record" is like the "ten commandents". Face it. Brown was trying to sabatoge the team to get the power he wanted. He was using "the track record" to get the power. All you Larry supporters fell for it.

All of us wanted Brown and expected progress but it's very telling that some still cling to this guy....even after all the evidence. The real "Track record" is the season that played out last season!!! Wake up!!!
