Assume Marbury and Francis are traded, just for a hypothetical situation. What route would you guys want to go?

I'm not even sure what I would do, but I am curious as to the feel of the board.

i'd sign Jay Williams to a low risk contract & focus our draft picks on getting a shotblocker/rebounder & an athletic swingman who can defend & rebound.

I'm a big Marcus Banks fan. I wouldn't mind doing a trade for Banks and signing Williams.

Forget Williams, what's the point? If anything, we need guys with experience playing at the point, and Jay Will hasn't played for 3 seasons now. He's basically back to being a rookie and probably nowhere close to being what he once was.

I say at least go for Banks and just ride with him and Craw and Nate and see what happens from there.

i'd rather see Nate Rob running point than Marcus Banks... i don't know the fascination on this board over that guy... but to each his own.

Jay Will is a low risk proposition... why waste a MLE contract on Marcus Banks when our biggest need is for a tough rebounder/low post defender?

Francis and/or Marbury need to go. Jamal should get the starting PG job. Having a Jaric or Miller to back him up would be ideal. Nate is a SG.

I'm not touching Jay Williams and I also have no idea why people are obsessed with Banks. Nate Robinson put up similar stats in less minutes in his rookie season.

I'd like to see Jay Williams get a chance, but he's a real project at this point and I don't know if the Knicks can handle any projects right now.

Maybe he can hook up with a team for summer league, then we can get a sense of what he's capable of.

I'm a Banks fan. I think he's hyped too much defensively but he has nice upside as an up-tempo point guard.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

i'd much rather sign Speedy Claxton than Marcus Banks if you want a defensive, uptempo PG.
