here's the scenario: we shop steph this summer. all we can do is a trade for something like (blount, hassel, hudson) or another package of doo-doo contracts for doo-doo players. i ask this, do we trade him for the best package we can get (despite how bad it is), do we buy him out, or do we keep him and give it another shot with lb? buying him out is VERY fiscally irresponsible unless he would agree to something like $5 mil or more less than his original deal as he CAN at least get a full MLE from someone? bringing him back means another season of circus atmosphere with steph + lb with the media hounding them all day every day. that would be a distraction unless we win. those are the scenarios, which one would you pick?

Tough call...I think we can get more for him then anyone thinks - especially if KG starts asking for him. Then we deal from a position of strength...I would take some expiring contracts and draft picks for him. I wouldnt buy him out though and I think he should be shopped as much as possible to ensure he isnt back with LB at the helm.

I would trade Marbury for a bag of basketballs. I just want to get rid of this loser. Just get him and his sulky, poison attitude out of the locker room.

give it another year, trade him when his value is up. Im not convinced marbury is as much of a cancer as people say. I've seen the knicks play hard, and inspired basketball while marbury is on the court, and I've seen them play terrible, piss poor basketball while he was out with the injury(we're something like 0-10 withouth him). I think this team is just a group of lazy unmotivated players that cant play larry's way, I dont beleive what blueseats says about him, holing the team hostage, and cuasing everyone to play bad basketball with his occassional sulking. although in that thread where he quoted all those articles it did sound really convincing, but in the end I form opinions based on what I see on the court. of course there was that altercation between steph and q rich earlier this season. and then there was that report by stephen A smith about the whole team hating steph. umm. on second thought maybe we should trade him, yeah trade him to minnesota or houston for long contract average players, becuase thats probably all we can get for him.

holy crap I just did the infamous mid post flip-flop.
