Peja. Knicks are lacking a shooter that stretches the defense DESPERATELY. The Knicks have no outside shooting so defenses are just collapsing down on Curry and limiting him in the paint.

KG is not in the poll.

I would want Peja the most, b/c I think he would be the best fit for the team. I like Pierce, but we already have Marbury, whom' we're trying to NOT allow him to dominate the ball, so Pierce would make things more difficult. Artest is too much of a headcase to surround the kids with, and I think he's ready to blow up 1 more time. No thanks to him. Actually, give me either Peja or Odom. I am interested in both equally.

Artest would be awesome here in NY. Sadly I don't see how that would happen. KG is the most realistic one in that list and that is just funny to me.

It's pretty hard not to vote all of the above. How could you decline the chance to have all of them (and obviously trade some to balance the roster)?

If we're ranking those and the goal is building for the long-term, I'd go with


Ron Artest
Paul Pierce
Darius Miles
Peja Stoyakavic
Lamar Odom

If the goal is putting the best team on the floor this year (not long-term) that would win the most games,

Pietrus for me because it wouldnt cost us the farm. Maybe something like Malik and Ariza for Fischer and Mik Pietrus. I think he's the uber athletic defender at the 2/3 that we need

Odom and Hinrich -- those two guys would thrive under LB and would bring this team to the next level.

Realistically, I don't think it would be a bad move to go after a guy like Jarvis Hayes. He could shoot the ball and fill a need for us at the 3. Don't know what we could offer them but he hasn't had a chance to develop and LB would really help him improve his overall game.
