Hell no. If Isiah gets Kwame, I'm really going to start badmouthing Isiah.

Can't tell if you're serious or joking but either way, that was hilarious!

Who is the coach who can turn Kwame around? Just curious.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

Hmmm, something sounds very unscientific about that poll but I can't quite put my finger on it...

phil jackson comes to mind as do larry brown. its sad to see a player this young with only one team only to be on the verge of being uncoachable

If Doug Collins couldn't coach this kid, no one can. Doug is regarded as one of the best teachers in the game. He would have had a worst of time working under Larry.. Larry hates lazy defenders,,,,just in case you didn't know, Kwame is lazy..

Doug Collins is a horrible coach who would lay down in the middle of I-95 if he thought that's what Jordan wanted him to do. Collins probably hurt Kwame as much as anyone by not doing anything to stop Jordan's constant bad-mouthing of the kid.

I'm not saying I think Kwame is going to be a star, but I think he can be better outside of Washington. You can't really ask a Wizard fan what they think of Kwame, he's a number one OVERALL pick who didn't develop and is leaving the team. They had inflated expectations.

I would love it if we could get Kwame and he exceeds all expectations, but coming to NY, I don't see that happening. He couldn't deal with all the scrutiny in Washington, well get a load of New York my friend. I've been saying this for a few months now actually. He needs a nice quiet NBA town that will be laid back about him. He needs a good kicking in the arse, but he doesn't need all the massive scrutiny he has faced. So I don't see NY being a city he'll succeed in. You're swinging for the fences with this, but the problem is, this isn't that 314 foot wall in Yankee stadium right field. This is 700 feet in dead straight center field in Tiger Stadium.

It wasn't the scutiny in Washington, it was the expectations. He was the player Jordan hand-picked to rebuild the Wizards, and then chose to come out of retirement to play with. Kwame never got a chance to develop because of Jordan - because of the expectations of being Jordan's first big draft pick and because Jordan played with him and turned the team into a playoff "contender" for the 8th seed instead of lotto team where Kwame could get touches.

I would say that a good part of the reason Zeke is chasing Kwame is to turn him into a player and stick it to Jordan one last time.

I voted no.
Small hands + questionable maturity level = major reclamation project.

I actually hope he ends up alongside Dwight Howard in Orlando and undergoes some kind of spiritual rebirth.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I like the idea of Channing, Jackie and Kwame pushing each other. If Channings outstanding fundamentals rub off on the other two, we're gonna have some sick big men.

It depends on for what.

Exactly. He's a good deal for Rose, Taylor or JYD straight up, or just for the MLE. Start adding guys like Sweetney etc. and it becomes dicey for me.

I love Sweetney but he will never be better than a Weatherspoon/corlis williamson type player. he's not as skilled as those guys and he's 40LBS heavier and most likey will continue to get heavier since he eats Mcdonalds for dinner
Kwame? yes or no...
